I’ve been longing for a café that reminds me of my second home(Portugal). Coffee was fresh and my tosta mista was delicious. Definitely going back. Only downside is the parking, but can’t blame them for that.

Great nata and coffee. They warm up the cream before pouring it in the coffee and this makes the coffee taste amazing. The ladies that work there are very sweet, accommodating and are very good at explaining the different pastries that they have. It’s a great dessert place, for sure!

Great Family owned Portuguese Café… The atmosphere is welcoming with helpful staff, not to mention the amazing coffee and pastries. This brings me great memories of being back in Portugal with my family and friends. Will highly recommend for anyone that wants a great breakfast experience at a reasonable price.

They expanded and have a seating area! They also offer savory snacks like a chicken puff pastry for your grab and go meals! Lots of Italian cookies and desserts as well as made to order sandwiches! Yum! Great place to stop by to grab breakfast or lunch!

A great café, the way it should always be. The coffee is fantastic and done right, the Portuguese pastries are delicious(especially the pastels de nata) and great sandwiches. One of my favorite spots, and now my 8 year old son’s as well.

What a nice little Portugese bakery/coffee spot. Large coffee(They use Torrie coffee) is $ 1.75. I had a large latte that was excellent. I tried a chocolate ball and a custard(natas) which were delicious. Very pleasant woman behind the counter. Definitely recommend if you are in the area.

I come here once in a while for breakfast and can’t help but take some pastéis de nata to go. I love their tosta mista and the galão. The place is small so I always eat outside on their tables.

It’s great to have another bakery in the area. The espressos are very good and the service is always friendly. The space is really small with no tables inside, which is my only complaint.

Love getting an espresso and sitting outside enjoying it. The pastry selection is also really good! It is a small place with no tables inside so sadly I probably will not be going there as often as I would like as the weather gets colder.

Came here for the first time the other day. I had a tosta mista on a Portuguese croissant and a large cup of coffee– it was great, no complaints. The owners mom was behind the counter and extremely friendly and personable. It is a small bakery with very limited seating(they have a counter with a few chairs and outdoor seating with 2 tables). I wish I tried a pastel de nata– they looked yummy but I was full. I’ll be back when I’m in the area.

Yummm — the custard pie — creamy with a perfectly flakey crust. Has two outdoor tables in front during the warm weather months.

Tiny little neighborhood coffee shop/café. Pleasantly surprised as I stubled upon this place today. Had a couple of pastries here. Cheesecake was really delicious as was the Portugeuse custard pie. For me a great alternative to that coffee shop from Seattle. I prefer to support the independents when possible! Will def be back for another try.

Stopped in here after reading the few good reviews and have to say that they were spot on. Great place to get that authentic Portuguese pastry, pastel de nata. The coffee is also good so when you are thinking of going to that chain spot across the street, stop in and try it here first. They have other items on the menu both for breakfast and lunch. Panini ham and cheese, steak sandwich, chicken sandwich to name a few. Nice to see something a lil different in town in this location. A few other businesses havent done so well. This one should be good to go for some time to come.

Great spot, great service and great sandwhiches. I’m an Italian kid from n. newark and not many places outside of iron bound have the custard pies. They are the ultimate favorite for dessert always. The owner made a special order for me with trader Joe’s cookie butter and cream. It was outstanding! So happy theirs a place close to my home to go to now.

Came here one Saturday to pick up a few pastries for myself, my family and for my lady’s family(3 orders in total) right before they were about to close(around 5:30pm). The space is cozy and has room for a few people to sit and enjoy their sandwiches, pastries and coffees. The service was above par with many bakeries with no wait time and a very professional and friendly attitude from the workers there. I didn’t order a coffee but a young lady was enjoying her latte and pastry. First let me start by saying that I’ve experienced many many many bakeries and many of them being Portuguese bakeries so I know what a delicious and well baked pastel de nata(custard cup) is vs a crappy one that has a sour and uncooked filling. So onto the pastries i ordered… A few mini pasteis de ovos mols(mini egg custard cups), bolas de Berlim(fried round doughnut with an opening filled with egg yolk cream topped with powdered sugar), mil folhas(vanilla pastry crème layered in a square with hardened sugar on top), chocolate cake slice, nutella pumpkin pound cake slice(seems to be their best seller since i only was able to get one), pumpkin pound cake slice and of course a handful of their pasteis de nata(custard cups). I had a few and my favorite were def the mini egg custard cups and the pumpkin nutella pound cake and the pasteis de nata. The pasteis de nata had a hard semi burned top with a very vanilla custardy filling that was soft and sweet with a very mild egg taste. The pumpkin pound cake was very moist and had the right amount of nutella mixed in the middle and as for the ovos mols, well. these were my favorite — they were sweet with a mild egg taste and a hint of cinnamon(small enough for a single bite) I will definitely come back and try their nutella pasteis de nata(custard cups with nutella) and try their Portuguese latte(galao).

Bangin, everything bangin… the breads, the pastels de nata with nutella, the torada, the mistas, all great. Should be open 24 hrs. The coffee cheaper and better than DD any day.
