History

Established in 1972.

Started by Don Holzberlein Sr. in 1972 with a single truck, and served Norman and surrounding areas. Now Don’s has 6 mobile units and 7 locksmiths. Our shop is located at 323 E. Daws St. in Norman, OK, but we have worked from Houston to Ft Wayne, In. We make keys, install locks, safes, access control systems, closed circuit TV systems, commercial steel doors, door closers and harware.

Born and raised in Oklahoma, always treating people the way I want to be treated. I have been in the locksmith business for 38 years. Taught by my father and now teaching my son.

I will never have another key made anywhere else! On more than one occasion I have been at WalMart or some other general store when I remembered I needed a key made, so I went ahead and had it made there… only to arrive home and have it not work. Never again!
The service is fast & friendly… but most importantly the keys are precision cut to work perfectly every single time! Auto, home or any other type of lock… get your keys made right, here, the first time!

Would definitely recommend this company. I have been needing to get some keys made to a storage cabinet. I have had the key copied at two places both of which I had to turn the keys. They both recommended Dons. Due to my schedule I had not made it by. I spoke to Quinton on Saturday we had plans to meet at his shop. I ended up getting called away. We made plans for yesterday (Sunday) I met him at his shop he made the keys for me in less than 5 minutes and they all worked. He went above and beyond for me and I can’t thank him enough. Good job guys.

Very pleased with the service I received from Don’s. I moved into a new house, and needed the house re-​keyed. I called Don’s to schedule an appointment on Thursday, and Friday by 2 the locksmith was at the house. In the interim, I discovered that one of the deadbolts was not locking. I hadn’t told Don’s about it, so it wasn’t on the invoice when the locksmith arrived. But, he was able to fix it on short notice, no problem. Saved me from having to buy and install an entirely new lock.
He re-​keyed the entire house and made me 4 keys. He was very quick and professional. Also, extremely friendly. I can see why Don’s has been around so long. If I need a locksmith in the future, I will absolutely call Don’s first.

This is my first ever review because these guys are GOOD. Honest and very reasonable. After I got cheated by an out off state 800 line lock smith I called Don at 6PM and they send a guy who solved my problem in few minutes.

Don’s is simply the best as far as locksmithing is concerned. Local and reliable, i’ve used them countless times to open doors, change locks and make keys. They’ve always been on time and are affordable as well. I work in a business where we change locks and make keys frequently, so I depend on quality, service and value. Don’s has all three. Forget everyone else. Use Don’s.
