Established in 1976.

Tidewater Tutoring Service has been providing individualized one-​on-​one tutoring throughout the Tidewater, Virginia area for 40 years. We provide experienced teachers to suit each student’s needs. We are the original Tidewater Tutoring, so do not be fooled by copycats who have adopted our name.

Business Owner

I have been teaching for over 40 years in both private and public schools around Tidewater, Virginia. I have an undergraduate degree in English and a Masters in Special Education and post-​graduate classes in math from a four-​year university and am certified to teach in several states. Besides an extensive background in teaching skills and techniques, I have an abundance of patience, which is necessary for teaching those with special needs.
