The event was good. Just too much fried stuff for me. Tasty, but I felt super grossed out with the amount of fried goodness I was scarfing down my throat. I’d come back to Outback only to say hi to friends, but nothing more. Good event nonetheless X. Maybe next time, more food/​selection? lol.

We got to start the night with some interactive fun by doing a scavenger hunt. Then it was a showcase of the new appetizers. I’m a fan of the BBQ chips with ranch dip, coconut shrimp, fried mushrooms, steakhouse nachos, margarita flatbread and chicken spinach flatbread. The onion petals seemed way too salty for my taste.
My table seemed to get skipped when it came to some of the appetizers coming our way, but we let our waiter, Seth who looks like Seth Rogen, know about it. He came out with double portions of some apps to make up for it. Much appreciated!

Had a great time at the Outback event! As I work, quite literally, across the street I was already familiar with some of the offerings like Onion Fries and Coconut Shrimp! Some of the items were great, others… somewhat predictable, but the event was a blast. Always great seeing fellow Unilocalers out in the wild! Also, met some new and wonderful peeps and got a toooon of new places to try!

Oh how much I love bar food! I expected just a few samples, but the Outback staff was super generous and kept bringing us plates of everything! My faves were the coconut shrimp, steakhouse nachos, and chicken flatbread… especially with the dipping sauces!
Service was excellent and the scavenger hunt was fun. Still bummed I didn’t win the sweet Outback basket. Fun night overall!

Fun night at the Outback, mates!
I think the new $ 4 dollar menu will work out really great for them. I wish more places would have deals like that. The flatbreads were yummy & I even ate a shrimp off the floor (hasn’t been the 1st time, classy I know), but my favorite of the night had to be the fried mushrooms!
Our server Seth was great & the photographer for the event was a cool, super nice guy! And of course Xerxes, thanks for organizing another fun event!
p. s. I learned that I suck at scavenger hunts.

Always a great time hanging with the Unilocal crew. The new $ 4 bar menu was pretty good though my favorite was the Margarita flatbread. I seriously could have eaten that all night. Also the apple Martini looked delicious, though I didn’t have any.
Hung out with my girls and even met some lovely new people. All in all a great night at Outback. Thanks Xerxes!

What do I say about it… Margherita Flatbread, Coconut Shrimp with yummo sauce, and some extra specially tasty fried mushrooms, that’s what I’m saying. Outback set a nice table to show off their $ 4 appetizer and drink menu. Gotta say, already thinking about when to make a gathering of it to load up on more of these fine edibles. The wait staff had quite a time since we were spread out quite a bit, but they were all smiles. You know that just makes it taste a little better. Kudos to them as well! Hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did.
