Great service, clean nail salon! I found this place because I am a regular at planet fitness. So why not give it a try. I went in, and I was greeted immediately at the door. The man that did my nails was better than the rest of the females that do my nails(especially acrylic ones) he was very nice and professional and really knows how to do nails. So all in all, this place is good, and clean. Prices are reasonable too. I would def recommend!

Wish I could give 0 stars. If you go there do not let the man do your nails. You’ll leave with bloody, torn up nail beds. Yes they’re cheap but not worth the pin I went through.

So I’m in between on whether I’ll go here again. I went in for eyebrows, pedi and mani. It was not busy. Maybe they thought it was helpful or good service but they did the mani and pedi at the same time. It’s awkward and not relaxing at all. When I told the girl I needed my eyebrows done; she kept trying to also sell me on eyelashes. No thank you. Kept saying it and she kept trying. I was going on a cruise the next day. Eyelashes aren’t good with so much beach time and sea water. No thank you. She kept pushing. I did not get them done and it was annoying she kept asking. My pedi and mani were great. The guy who did the pedi was very nice. It was missing hot towels and a foot/calf massage though. Felt incomplete. Eyebrows good. I already tweeze them but wanted it all cleaned up. She understood what I wanted and I had no issues. My issue was as she’s finishing and laying over my face she says ‘you tip good today?’ I said what? She said ‘you will tip good today?’ I know certain ethnicities are blunt but this takes the cake. I didn’t like the mani and pedi at same time because I don’t like the UV machine on my lap. Cancer is too easy to get as is. Plus I like to relax. I wasn’t in a hurry. Next time I’ll just go in for mani and then after it’s done I’ll mention the pedi. :) Oh also one good thing was they recommended I don’t shellac the toes because it’s $ 10 extra and not worth it. So I didn’t. Because of the tip question, abrasive eyelash conversation and not allowing me to relax I feel it’s only worth 2. 2 for pedi guy and another for no wait/friendly staff.

Worst experience ever! I wish I could give zero stars. I went in for a pedicure with a friend and ended up leaving with a bloody, sore toe. The person working on my feet was trimming my nails and snatched a whole piece of my nail off along the side. It hurt extremely bad and is still hurting(3 days later). The person didn’t react or apologize for the painful injury he caused and I was still charged the full amount for the pedicure. Horrible don’t ever go here!!!

I will give this place one star b/c my pedicure was actually very good. My french manicure was however the sloppiest, and most awful I have ever had at a nail salon. I could have done a better job at the white tips than this person did. I’m actually annoyed with myself that I even paid for it. I do not recommend this place at all.

I gave one star because I was not able to give zero stores. I had the worse experience here. Mainly, the language barrier created HUGE problems as no one there speaks any English. I had a pedicure, which was what I would expect, except for the fact that the lady did not put the color of polish on my nails that I had requested. No biggie BUT… I had arrived at the place to get my eyebrows done for a friend’s wedding. The lady did not understand me so she started doing my eyelashes instead of my eyebrows. I tried to tell her but she spoke NO English(not a word). I had never had my eyelashes done. Since I had never had them done before, I did not know that I could not blink my eyes. This may sound like common sense but if you’ve never had your eyelashes done, like me, you may not know this! The lady may have tried to communicate this to me, but I could not understand a word that she said. B/c I did not know otherwise, I blinked. As a result of blinking, my eyes were glued shut and they burned like fire. I was not sure if my eyes would ever open and if the pain would ever go away. I had such a difficult time removing the glue and the eyelash extensions. My eyes were severely infected. Needless to say, I think that if you’re working near the eye, you should at least speak a word of English. This could have been prevented. So, I ended up going to the eye doctor to get all the extensions and glue out(and I also needed medication for the eye infection). All is good now but I would not suggest going here. Did I mention that I was still charged for everything?! I’m not sure when I’ll be back in Norfolk but I won’t be coming here!
