Belmont At Freemason Apartments

Belmont at Freemason is perfectly placed in reference to downtown Norfolk. Not too close to where rent would be extreme, but close enough to always walk back from the bars, the MacArthur Mall, or if needed take the Tide back from the Tide stadium after a fun day game. Also Belmont is across the street from the YMCA and you’re walking distance from the Scope, town point park, and numerous other venues! The apartments are as new as they come and very well designed with covered parking and required keys to get into the building. All around amazing place. What’s more is the apartment complex always gives away tickets to such events like wine fest, Admiral’s games, and Tides games for free! Again those tickets are free for residents! They are also pet friendly; however, do require pet rent. Overall I’ve had a wonderful experience at this place and would recommend it to anyone. Lastly, the awesome staff made moving in, fixing small things around the apartment quick and easy. The staff really made the difference and keep the place nice and neat. If there is a bad thing about this place it would be living on the first floor due to the traffic on Brambleton street if you ever leave your window open during the day or the Tide may get annoying as it dings by constantly. I just got use to the Tide going by as that’s the side I’m on. The apartment complex has a small gym and no pool, which was almost a deal break until they gave me 3 free months at the YMCA. Again overall great place and a 10!

You couldn’t ask for a better place to live in downtown Norfolk! The staff at Belmont try to get to know you and treat you very kindly. The apartments are setup wonderfully. You really can’t hear a thing from your neighbors. You can hear the Tide bell ringing throughout the day but after the first day or two you actually don’t really notice it. The parking situation could be improved. There are plenty of spots but having an assigned spot would be helpful. The location is fantastic as you are close to everything downtown and in Ghent. The rents are a bit high, well, a lot high, but it’s a trade off for having a really nice place to live.
