Joe did a good job with my van. I had a Sony 68bt. Installed now I have Bluetooth and back up camera.

I came to JR audio to get my stereo system hooked up in my truck. came in with only a dual 8″ subwoofer box that was custom made to fit underneath my rear seats. after deciding what brand of speakers and head unit, etc, we came up with a super reasonable out the door price. he even offered me a cheaper price if I payed cash!!! ummmm. absolutely! a few hours later, I get a call from them. they basically told me that it didn’t sound as good as it could with the two 8″ subs in the box that I had brought them, so, they offered to make a custom box themselves for a 10″ subwoofer to go under my seat. of coarse, I want my system to sound the best it could, so I agree to this plan. I expected to be charged extra for them having to make a custom box, or at least them keep the box I brought them (sort of a trade, mine for theirs) but no! they didn’t charge me a dime more than the price we decided on earlier that day. and the subwoofer box I brought them to use was on my seat when I left! I get to return the unused box, and I can be refunded my 100 $ that I payed for it in the first place. SOOOO happy with their work and their customer service. and my stereo system sounds amazing :) well worth the money.

NEVER COME HERE. if I could give them no stars that we make a lot more sense.
this whole place is a wreck. I have been coming here for over a year and never received the service I paid for. I’ve bought sound systems, tints, lowering springs, a cold air intake, fog lights, headlights you name it. after the 3 to 4 hour wait everything is good. but in the next few days there’s always a problem, currently I have a fog light out and supposedly the fog lights «come like that sometimes». 2^nd time in a row with the same fog light. the last time I had to come back was because we waited 2 hours to install the cold air intake and he bought the wrong year for my car. this part ended up taking a month to be ordered and get installed on my car. needless to say this place is highly over priced and the people in there don’t give a **** about your car. they want your money that’s about it. the main person, Joe literally has no care in the world for your car. he has never been friendly or helpful towards us even though we have easily spent over 1000 dollars there. we’ve got lowering springs that were put on «loose», tints that had scratches in them, the cold air intake issue, headlight and fog light issues. everything that can go wrong here WILL. Generally speaking don’t come here unless you want an overpriced part that’s cheap with overpriced install and it still doesn’t get put in properly.

Came here to get a sound system for my car, service man wasn’t really helping me out much. Place was overall clean and friendly.

They explained what the benefits were with different radios. (Pros & Cons). The service was professional and most importantly the price was right. I would highly recommend them for radio installation.

JR audio is awesome. Mr. Rubenstein is very professional in his work and very passionate and it shows on all of his products that he puts his hands on.
I took my G 35 here and for a very good price he installed a brand-​new Soundsystem sub woofer’s it was like I had my own recording studio in my car. If you’re looking for a good place to trick out your car with amazing products and great service this is the place for you.

Awesome experience !! We brought our new RZR 1000 there to have a whole stereo system, LED light bar and lights. They did an amazing job so professional and looks and sounds exceptional !! Would highly recommend them!!! They did a rush job for us and «Josh» came in early so we could pick it up and go over every detail. He did a terrific job dialing everything in. Thanks to Jesse too !!!

I brought my new RZR XP4 1000 in for a sound system and light effects. They were great to work with and the installation looks better than I was expecting. I would definitely recommend them to my friends or family.

If I could give them 6 stars, I would.
In short; I feel taken care of. Would I send a friend to them? Hell yeah, I’d even send my boss! (umm, that’s a good thing)
1. Price: They charged me $ 1550 for the exact same equipment & job a Costa Mesa shop quoted $ 2200 for.
Further; he gave me a generous discount when they had to keep it an extra day — unsolicited.
I probably should have declined since it was really my fault. I added speaker & amp installation to the job after they started (over the phone).
2. The $ 1050 in speakers + amp were already a good price (I price checked everything). They were basically giving me free or really cheap installation.
When they got my car apart, they saw that the door speakers needed 6×9, not 6.5″. Honest mistake /​assumption.
Rather than calling me with bad news, asking for more money, delay, they just upgraded me to a better system since that’s what they had in stock, for the same price! Woa!!!
3. Quality of workmanship.
Nobody offers a 2-​din kit for my car model (2009 Toyota Avalon). It has this stupid flip-​door that takes up space.
They had to custom-​manufacture a dash kit. I swear, it looks factory. They have a bondo genius working there!
The speaker and stereo install looks and sounds great! No rattles, paint fingerprints, unevenness, etc. Looks factory!
Their installer went thru everything with me.
4. Quality of Salesmanship.
Jessie is one of those audiophiles who just knows what’s what. He gave me the advice I needed. I just don’t know much about audio. He steered me right from the get-​go.
For example; they properly match up a high-​end amp to high-​end speaker. He wouldn’t let me get the better speakers without an amp that matches. Their demo-​case proves what he’s saying. The best speakers sound worse than the middle ones with a mid-​range amp.
5. Quality of product.
Also; they don’t carry cr@p stuff, so I really couldn’t go wrong. They’re a Hertz Audison dealer and that should say something.
6. Other Unilocal complaints bringing them down.
I put my priority on good deals, good workmanship, good advice, and getting a fair shake if something goes South. Not some jerk who complains that they charged $ 50 to drill a hole — that surely took an hour of their time from when he walked in their door; not to mention the liability.
As for on-​time. They’re busy! I’ve been there 4 times now. They must do 20 cars a day. I’m sure some of them, like me, change the job mid-​way, pushing others back.

Jesse & Joe. Definitely coming back after these guys have showed the right accessories and prices for my car. it was definitely a drive, but honestly such a great team and a service that speak it self. Thank you guys and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM,

Updated: the alarm still works great, but almost at the same exact time in the morning it will go off. It’s not like a truck drove by, or someone bumped it. It’s perfectly quiet & no one around and it will just go off like clockwork every single morning. Wakes us up. Really annoying. I don’t get why it does that but I’m running out of patience

We were very happy with the services from JR Audio. Jesse helped us out and was very knowledgeable and helpful with the items we purchased and installed. He listens to what you are interested in and will not sell you anything you don’t need… and that is a BIG PLUS! We purchased DVD players for our new SUV and their prices were very competitive compared to other local shops which is what lead us to their store.
Keep up the fantastic work! I surely will be recommending JR Audio to family and friends.

Had the windows tinted on our new Honda Accord and they did a great job. Staff is very professional and very helpful with all the questions.

I would not give any stars if it wasnt required. I’ve been taking my car in for some audio maintenance. Small things here and there. Had some work that was questionable but I accepted it since the issue was fix. Also had some time frame issues with them but still, was acceptable. Not this time! Took time off of work to bring in my car today (btw, they are the closest to my home which is why I go back) because my window was stuck opened. I thought it could be the module since I upgraded the roll down feature on my alarm. Took it in and also had two other things I needed done. I explained the window issue and also mentioned that I wanted a video adapter for my iphone (which they didnt have last time I was there to do the work and they told me to go back and get it switched out) and the adapter they put in stopped charging my iphone. So I explained all three issues and they told me «sure, we can get to those». I asked if they can have it done today and they said «oh yeah, we can have it done today». I told them that I could leave it there and come pick up around the time they closed at 7pm.
When i arrived at 6:30pm, I saw my car and it seemed like it wasnt moved. I thought maybe they worked on it there. When I went in, they told me they didnt get to my car and came up with an excuse that they had too much work from the weekend. I was so angry but calmly asked, how come the lady standing next to me got her windows tinted and my car was not even looked at. Their response was «she was serviced first» and got really rude in his tone. I would maybe accept that if not for the fact that we got there at the same time and she was helped first. I asked if they could have it looked at today before 7pm and he said yes but couldnt make any promises. He said I could go back the next day and he would offer a discount but when I asked if it can be done in one day, they said they were not sure. Lots of back peddling. I told them that I took the day off of work to get this done and that they said it would be done. I dropped off my car around 9:30am and they couldnt even look at it for almost 9 hours? When I walked out and saw the other guy, I said «is this how you treat regular customers?», i guess the other guy couldnt understand me and responded with a thug like attitude and asked what I said. So I repeated it again to him. He didnt seem to care, so I drove off. This is about the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I am one to rant and post but this got my blood boiling. No one called me to say there were delays but was a promise of service from them that it would be done. Didnt want to commit to a time frame after I pointed out their lame excuse. I will never go back again and would recommend everyone not to patronize this business even if its near by. Very angry and disappointed by this place and how they treat their customers.

As a DJ, I like to hear my music crystal clear. As a producer, I NEED to hear my music crystal clear… As a party animal, I like to hear my music LOUD. :) I had a friend who recommended this place, but seeing as how I have a SMART car, I didn’t know what they’d be able to do for me. It’s very tiny!
When I arrived, I spoke to the manager, and we chose the speakers I thought would be the best for my car, 2 Audison Vocce K6’s, and we agreed on the amplifier for those. I asked what they could do for the sub and the manager proposed they build a custom subwoofer box (8″ Kicker) that would remain in the small trunk behind the driver’s seat, would match the interior of my car, and be really discrete, subtle, but powerful. To not force the single amp to control all three outputs, we agreed that a second amp be installed specifically for the sub. Then I picked a touchscreen control panel and handed him my key!
He gave me updates all day long, and even after running into an issue (the speakers are deeper than the factory’s, so they could have been damaged if the windows were rolled down lol), we came to a solution to custom fit them into the doors through the front instead of having them be flush from behind. Personally, I like it better that way; they look intense. It’s very clean too. By the end of the day, my baby was finished! He even had my original parts packed safely into their own little box in the trunk.
The total cost of parts and labor was truly realistic and definitely reasonable. I don’t know what some of these other reviewers’ comments are about, my experience was a breeze. They were straight-​forward with me, I didn’t get «weird quotes» or «hidden costs», not even diarrhea from the coffee they gave me. Through my speakers, I only hear crisp, beautiful music. Perfect highs and earth-​shaking lows even when the volume’s at 30 (around 80 – 85 dB)… and it goes up to 50! I was so impressed that I went back to get window tint, Xenon headlights, and to have my Bluetooth set up.
FLAWLESS service. Fantastic guest experience. JR Audio can do anything. Would I ever go back? Absolutely. In fact, I think I’m gonna need bigger wheels soon…

Awesome job on a sunsation 36 xrt! They are one of the top audio people out there! They made my boat sound like a million dollars! Very good service the guys are funny and very smart knowing what the problem is with the systems! They are a 5 star company! Thank you
