The Joy of Grooming is a full service pet grooming salon serving the Newton, NJ area. Owner Joy Melody began her entrepreneurial journey in the pet grooming industry after gaining over 15 years of experience working as a pet groomer. As a lifetime dog owner, Joy has always had a deep appreciation for the unconditional love expressed by her pets, enjoying the companionship, playful nature, and unique personalities of each one. She took a job working as a pet groomer, realizing she would be able to devote her time and attention to the care of man’s best friend. Joy soon developed the skills that allowed her to run the day to day operations for the elderly owner. Several year’s later, the opportunity to strike out on her own presented itself, and Joy founded her business, aptly names «The Joy of Grooming», which remains at its original location of the Station House Plaza on Spring Street in Newton, conveniently located near the following zip codes 7 821, 7 825, 7 871, 7 875, 7 826

Owner Joy is actively involved in pet rescue and treasures the opportunity to be involved with finding homeless pets their forever homes. The Joy of Grooming actively works with local pet adoption agencies, including OSCAR & Father John’s, providing free grooming services and holding pet adoption day events.
