Metrowest Nutrition is a group of experienced registered dietitians providing individualized, concierge-​style nutrition counseling as well as corporate and school nutrition programming, menu review and nutrition consulting. Our specialty areas include pediatric and adolescent nutrition, eating disorders, wellness, weight management, allergies, sports nutrition, healthy cooking, nutrition for autism and ADHD, women’s health, diabetes and oncology nutrition.

History

Established in 2010.

Metrowest Nutrition was started in 2010 as a group practice established by registered dietitian, Amy Gardner. Ms. Gardner began the practice after having owned and operated her own private practice in Newton for 9 years. The company currently has 8 employees and 3 locations. It has expanded into three areas of service — individual, corporate and school nutrition.

Business Owner

Amy Gardner is the founder of Metrowest Nutrition and has been practicing in the field of nutrition for 16 years. She started Metrowest Nutrition in 2010 after nine years in private practice. Amy holds a bachelor’s degree in clinical nutrition from the UNH and a master’s degree from NYU. Her specialty areas are eating and feeding disorders and nutritional management of ADHD and autism. She worked at McLean Hospital for 8 years in both adolescent and adult programs focused around eating disorders, mood and weight management. She also worked at Germaine Lawrence, a therapeutic school in Arlington, MA, in the bionutrition research department at MGH and was regional nutritionist for a group of Boston area health clubs. Amy regularly speaks on the topic of nutrition at professional conferences, schools and corporations. She is a contributing writer to Today’s Dietitian magazine and a professional member of a number of organizations.
