I set up a Creative Nails pedicure appointment in advance and arrived on time for my appointment. All of the staff members were busy, but one of them hastily showed me to a pedicure chair and returned to her station while I tried to figure out where to put my shoes and jacket. I waited in my assigned chair for 20 minutes. No one acknowledged me, except when my basin started to overflow and I asked a staff member to help me turn it off. When a walk-​in party of four arrived and were told they would be able to get pedicures, I finally just left.
Other reviewers have described this salon as «professional», but that wasn’t my experience. If you value your time, and just generally want attentive service when you get a pedicure, I recommend going somewhere else.

This place is amazing. I’ve been there twice for mani/​pedi and waxing. It’s very clean and they’re all so friendly. They also gave great massage chairs. During your mani, you get a nice chair massage and your hands are dipped in paraffin wax as well. After the wax, they will add your choice of natural oil and lotion to your arms and wrap them in a hot towel. This place has added all the special touches to make your experience that much better. I typically don’t write reviews, but they’re great and though they deserved the credit.

I came here on a Sunday to get a manicure because my nails were looking raggedy from all of the fun I was having at Newport. They dipped my hands in parrafin wax (felt so good) and gave me a choice of aromatic oils to use on my hand massage. All of their products were up-​to date and mostly OPI. They did a nice job with nail polish application, it’s now a few days later and its holding up great.

Wonderful service & excellent attention to detail. Came here to get my nails done before attending a wedding & came away very pleased with the result. Easily the most pleasant experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon!

$ 15 for a manicure vs $ 10 — $ 25 in the city (New York)!
I have one of my favorite spots in the city (New York) that I adore literally. This is my to go spots when I am in Newport.
Cindy my manicurist is one of the sweetest lady I’ve ever met. So normally when you get a manicure they spray and then lotion your hand. But this place has a machine where you dunk your hand in and it creates this glove that sticks on like but its lotion. Pretty neat.
The nail salon is spacious with a large selection of colors. Super clean and chic!

This is the BEST nail salon of Newport by far!!! I am such a picky person with this kind of service but seriously, Creative Nails is not only a fantastic place to have a Mani and Pedi, it’s also great for Waxing and other services. The staff is so friendly and professional, I give my word that you will have an amazing service!

Great, clean salon. The staff was friendly and did a fabulous job for a very reasonable price. I will definitely come back and get another pedicure next time I’m in town.

Great place! I’m from out of town, and I came here on a Sunday. We got in right away. The nail salon is very clean. The message chairs for the pedicures are in new condition. My sister had a pedicure and she really liked it. I did a shellac manicure, and the manicurist did a great job. A paraffin wax for your hands is included in the price! Overall it was a great experience.

I absolutely love coming here. The staff is so super friendly and laid back that they make you feel like family after just a few visits. Amanda is my choice but all of them are awesome. I work in Newport and anytime I’m asked where is a good place to get one’s nails done, hand and feet, I recommend coming here. I’ve even gotten a few acquaintances to start going here as well.

Walked in for a mani-​pedi. A man gave me my mani. When he pushed back the cuticles he pressed down so hard on my natural nail I am sure he took off the top three layers of my nail! Not good. My pedi was done by another man. He made sure to have his cell phone next to him and checked it throughout the pedicure. My heels were rough and needed smoothing. He did not touch them. Bottom line: he just put polish on my toes with a little cream massage thrown in. Useless. The staff call each other ‘Daddy’ and ‘Mommy’. A pricey bizarre place.

Had an appt to get a pedicure with my friend and my guy didnt show up for at least 15 minutes after they started her nails. They allowed her to get a manicure too after her feet were down and when I asked if he could give me one he said yes. After he sat me down for my manicure he was then told he couldnt as there was another lady coming in for her nails. So– they let me sit in my chair waiting for my pedicure for 15 minutes as the water is getting cold and my feet are turning to prunes and then they say they cannot do a manicure after all. F this place. There are plenty of other options.

In from out of town and on a whim googled mail salons for a pedicure… Had such a great exprience would drive from boston area to have another pedi done here. Everyone is so friendly, the salon and everything is so clean, and they do a great job! Loved it!!!
