Nice area to live in… Maintenance is slow when things are needed to be done. Very spacious though. Walls are thin. Pool area and jacuzzi are great!

Not great, not terrible. If you require maintenance you might need some patience and to constantly remind them so. Very low pest issues and very thin walls(I’d recommend getting a top floor). Friendly staff but they remind me of the cool kids from high school. So if you’re not one of them, things can get kind of uncomfortable. But their professional demeanor is up to par. My electric bill was around $ 250 during the winter and about $ 75 during the summer,(one bedroom 750 sq ft) soo, yeah… Maintenance might access your apartment without proper notice or permission and they walk through with dirty shoes. But the maintenance guys are just as delightful and easy to deal with as the office staff. If you live in the middle(Blackwater Way) prepare to battle for evening parking spaces. Diverse fellow residents. I’m glad this was my first apartment in Newport News. A little rough around some edges but a well maintained property. Recycling is available =) P. s. someone needs to fix the key pad on the dumpster and replace that water hose

This has to be one of the NICEST places to live in the area. I was finishing out my undergrad degree at the local university and settled here. The staff are incredibly friendly(I hug my leasing lady everytime I see her). The maintenance staff are always waving to you as you pull in, or leave, or walking around. The grounds are SUPER clean. To top it all off, the amenities are THEBEST in the area. Trust me, I did my research. If I don’t get a job outside of town, I will renew my lease without question.
