History
Established in 2012.
Chef and Sommelier Richard «Rick» Boufford had the «time of his life» offering hands on cooking classes on Saturdays in his restaurant kitchen at the now closed The Black Sheep Bistro in Tustin. Rick has reinvented The Black Sheep Cooking Club as a way to share the vast experience he has been privileged to receive in the 35 years he and his wife Diana have devoted to restaurant, hospitality and wine industry by creating a host of unique cooking classes for the home kitchen. The Boufford’s have worked with and for some of the most recognized people in the business, and love the opportunity to be able to share their skills and art through numerous specialty classes and demonstration events!

Rick and Diana B.
Business Owner
Rick & Diana Boufford are married and have been working side by side in the restaurant hospitality business for well over 30 years, 22 in their former restaurant; The Black Sheep Bistro with Rick in the kitchen, and Diana in the front. Prior to the Black Sheep they had worked for many of Orange Counties top establishments including; The Hobbit, Alfredo’s (South Coast Plaza) and Alan Greeley’s Golden Truffle. As newlyweds and young restaurateurs they had spent most all their vacations and free time dining out and researching cuisines from around the world (they were well recognized «foodies» long before the term!) Today they are on fire! to share what they love through Just Good Fun & The Black Sheep Cooking Club. Their Mission is «Creating Community Through The Arts» by teaching and demonstrating skills that can be shared, there by empowering others to get involved. What’s more appreciated than learning to prepare and enjoy a meal with someone you love?
