Scene Gallery is a quaint art gallery located in Newport Beach, California. We offer a myriad of elegant home furnishings that could bring beauty and intrigue into any home. Our expansive painting gallery is free for both your perusal and purchase if any of our oil paintings or print on canvas pieces strikes your fancy. Scene Gallery’s owner Rob Riemer would also be glad to guide you through the collection of California paintings and landscape paintings to help you find the perfect piece to adorn your walls.

Alongside the multitude of paintings, Scene Gallery also showcases many hand-​crafted picture frames and antiqued mirrors. If you cannot seem to find that perfect picture frame, we also offer custom frames to realize your vision. Feel free to stop by and roam our gallery to find that next beautiful addition to your home.

History

Established in 1985.

Scene Gallery is family owned and operated. We have enjoyed a loyal following in Newport Beach since 1990.

The owner Robert, an artist himself, designs every framing with an artists eye and attention to detail. You will never find him using a formulaic or uninspired frame design. Each is unique with consideration to the client, the art piece and the home or office where it will be displayed.

Have leaned on Rob and his design expertise for several years now. He works with some talented artists who have created some amazing Tuscany scenes for us. My Unilocal today is to compliment Rob for the amazing job he did creating a custom framed display for a set of commemorative Winchester rifles I own. The level of detail and support from coming up with the idea, to execution finish was all outstanding. I now have a one of a kind piece of art.

Scene Gallery was particularly accomodating in trying to find me the perfect frame for a very large, oversized painting I have in my home. Rob worked tirelessly to locate the right size, color, width and shape. Rob, the owner, is an artist himself, and has a unique, creative eye that helps him identify the perfect frame for your needs. He showed me some of his own paintings and he’s an amazing artist. It’s a great little neighborhood framing store, with a laid-​back, comfortable feel. He is also very flexible to work within your budget if you have limited dollars to spend. I will definietly bring more art here to be framed in the future! :)

A good friend of mine recommended I visit Scene Gallery when I moved into my new home and needed some framing work done and advice on decorating. The shop owner, Rob, was so helpful. He has a great feel and an eye for art — I later learned he is not just the shop owner, but he is an artist himself — he paints, and is a playwright. Rob even came to my home and spoke with my husband and I helped us design our wall space for our art. Now when I need something framed or advice, I don’t even have to worry — I trust Rob completely — I just call him, tell him I dropping off a piece of art and he always picks out the perfect frame! He has framed everything from delicate antique maps to my kid’s art work — I won’t go anywhere else. Also, his selection of frames is something you will never find in any of those chain frame stores — he carries beautifully handcrafted frames from all over the world.
