I believe I speak for all Corona del Mar residence when I thank the Management at Pavilions for hiring the laid off employees from the local and now defunct Haggen’s. We enjoy seeing those familiar faces. Thank you Pavilions!

Worst grocery store ever! I have tried to order different items and even cases of wine. No one ever returns calls or follows through. I have lived on Balboa Island for a long time and this store only is good for a grab and run in an emergency. When you need to shop go to Ralphs.

I am extremely frustrated and disappointed in your staff by their lack of customer service today. I came in to use my raincheck for Farmer John hot dogs, on sale for $ 0.99, since you were out of the products over a week. I needed help to check inventory in the back since they only have 5 items on the shelf. It took over 10 minutes and they came back empty handed. I asked the supervisor, Terry, if I can substitute the item. She said no but the cashier can change the quantity on the raincheck for the remaining item. I said ok and proceed to with the transaction. When the transaction was done, I asked for my raincheck with the modified quantity. My cashier asked another associated what to do with it. He looked it over and said that my cashier should not even redeem since it is from a different store. I said it was written by one of your employees. He questioned me who was the associate as if I remember who helped me. Then he said the quantity is over the amount, the limit is 5. Again, I told both of them that the Terry, the supervisor, said I can have the raincheck back. They refused and kept it. I asked for the Terry but she was nowhere to found. I cannot wait since I purchased ice cream. Finally, they are not trained on your corporate policy. Item 29 regarding raincheck, customers can redeem it at any Vons/Pavilions locations within 90 days. All this argument was over a raincheck for a product of $ 0.99. What happen to customer service and retention? Clearly they do not value customers. I have been a loyal customer at your store. However, after today’s nonsense, I rather take my business elsewhere.

I was in a crisis for 2 last minute floral centerpieces for a yacht’s maiden voyage. I had less than an hour and the young brunette in the floral department saved my day. She made beautiful arrangements in a timely manner and was extremely helpful and polite for probably half the price. She really saved the day, thank you!

I have been going to this store a lot just for connivence purposes but im not impressed. My biggest grievance is that they do not have paper bags. I usually bring my own bag but sometimes I forget or need an extra and all they ever have is plastic which should be outlawed if you ask me. The store is also over priced.

We shop at Pavilions at least 4 times a week for fresh foods, etc… I have never experienced such a rude person in my lifetime from a Manager. My hands were full of groceries and without a cart/wastebasket with my small child. My boyfriend was on the other side of the store shopping and we got disconnected. As I walked by a Manager with a cart and a basket i asked«are you using those items’? He actually said ‘YES». and proceeded to stand by the flower cashier drop the items off and meet me by the closing door. Near the closing doors were baskets and i proceed to tell the employees that i have never meet awful employee who cared more about himself then helping a woman with a child. Rudeness… rather drive to Irvine Market

This pavilions is kind of small but its walking distance to us so a quick dash when we need something in a hurry. for bigger shopping lists I prefer to go to another chain or even a bigger Pavilions. The checkout folks are the nicest I’ve ever seen.

All of the employees are always super nice and look at your receipt when you’re checking out for your last name so they can thank you for coming. Being allergic to wheat, pavs has an excellent selection of organic food, gluten-free options and they are all reasonably prices. I usually shop at a farmers ‘type’ market, but pavs has the best overall goods, including eco-friendly cleaning products and organic wine : —) …not to mention their prices on local flowers, succulents and herbs that you can plant! With the ‘gas rewards’ that you get too, why would I want to shop anywhere else?!
