I used the Chef TLC’s Sidewalk Café truck to cater my wedding this past October, and it was some of the best money I’ve ever spent. In addition to Teri and Mike being wonderful, friendly people, the food is AMAZING. I had wedding guest after wedding guest approach me at the wedding and contact me after to comment on how good the food was. My personal favorite was the pulled pork grilled cheese, but everything they served that night was fantastic. I was fortunate enough to receive a referral to work with Teri & Mike and I will continue to refer them to everyone I know who is looking for affordable and delicious catering. The business side of my dealings with Chef TLC’s Sidewalk Café was very smooth as well. From selecting the menu items, to paying the invoice, the entire process was so easy, which was greatly appreciated while I was planning my wedding. I’m going to be a Chef TLC patron for life!

Just had a pulled pork sandwich with French fries from this truck at oak middle school in los alamitos.
Visually the food was amazing till i ate it, food was cold and had no flavor. Pork was boring and tasted pre-​packaged. So disappointing. Only reason i give it 2 starts is for customer service

Bought a delicious pulled pork grilled cheese today! The food was awesome, the sandwich was to die for! A lot of delicious flavors that blended nicely. The fries were delicious and perfectly crisp. Loved the side of coleslaw, the cilantro was an awesome touch! Not to mention the handsome man helping us out! Would definitely eat here again!

Wow! So glad that this truck was outside atomic dance studio. Perfect place to satisfy an appetite after some swing dancing. The grilled cheese with pulled pork was derrrricious. The chef taught me the perfect bite: add some spicy coleslaw to the edge of the sandwich and then bite into it. Mind blown! The spicy coleslaw really pairs well with the sweet bbq sauce on the pulled pork. The fries were crispy and salted to perfection.
Another great item on the menu was a bruschetta drizzled with lemon balsamic, topped with a cheese that was similar to a soft mozzarella cheese and herbs. Yum!

I tried this truck about two months ago and I still remember how much I enjoyed it. I had the pulled pork sando with fries. The sando had a good helping of bbq sauce and the pork was very juicy and tender. The fries had a light seasoning and we’re also pretty delicious. Very good truck indeed.

What a fantastic owner operated food truck! The pulled pork grilled cheese is simply amazing. I just had one an hour ago and I’m craving another! Make a trip out to visit them and you won’t be disappointed.

I was a little nonplus going up to this truck. I had checked out the menu online first, and I was excited for something that they didn’t apparently have. They have a large menu, but, as with most trucks, they only server from a daily menu that is based on the online one. I instead got the sandwich version of the pulled pork. It said that one could ask for jalapenos, so I did. The woman that was cooking said, «I fried up some jalapenos and bell peppers, would you like me to put that in your sandwich?» Needless to say, I agreed fervently. My sandwich was awesome and came with a teeming supply of french fries. There was so much pork that it was very difficult to keep it all in while I ate it, but I happily mopped up the rest while eating the awesome french fries. That sandwich literally made my day. If they come back, I am definitely getting that sandwich again.

YUMMMM! You must try this food truck. They have the most amazing Sloppy Joe of all time, hands down. The meat is seasoned to perfection, a bit of sweet along with the savory, and the bun is soft and holds all the deliciousness in — this is the best Sloppy Joe I’ve ever had. The grilled cheese is even better than you can imagine, the right amount of cheese on perfectly grilled bread, ideal comfort food. Today I tried the Grilled Cheese with Pulled Pork, it comes with cole slaw that melts in your mouth when combined with the sandwich. Every item I have tried from this truck I have loved. Check it out!

Sidewalk café is delicious! My husband and I were able to enjoy a few breakfast tacos with homemade salsa as we walked the great park farmers market in irvine. My husband had the bacon and egg tacos with fresh jalapeños, myself, I tried the sausage. The roasted salsa had the perfect amount of spice too. The owners are very nice and you can tell they enjoy what they do. We can’t wait to try some of their great lunch specials! Keep and eye out for their truck, you won’t be disappointed :)

Good, simple food. Finally a food truck that isn’t trying to push poorly composed «fusion» food. I ordered the apple turkey melt and received a deliciously browned melty sandwich with apple, turkey, cheese and honey dijon on a side of fries. Fast friendly service at this truck which delivers as promised. 5⁄5 for a food truck, would dine here again.

The truck has been here several times in the last couple weeks. I decided to try and for the breakfast surprise which is an egg burrito with no tortilla. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. The food was fast and price around 5 bucks… reasonable.

Just had breakfast with them at Fashion Island. They were at the Newport Beach Car Wash. The food was great. I really enjoyed it and would suggest them to anyone. I got a chance to talk to Mike, one of the owners. He was a great guy. Say hi to him if you get a chance.

This truck was at our office last Tuesday off Michelson. From the outside everything looked nice and clean. Food came out quick but that is when things went bad. We ordered the grilled cheese sandwich two of them. This came out to about 16 $ which was pricey but hey its food trucks. The food we received was a total joke. Something I could have whipped up in a kitchen in like 5 mins. Picture two slices of wonder bread with hardly any butter and one slice of Kraft cheese. My 8 year old nephew makes a better Grill cheese. I would pass on this truck.
