I struggle with finding clothes that fit me (5 ft, 32G, and I have a booty). So, naturally bathing suit shopping is not a pleasant experience for me. Well! BEST EXPERIENCE EVER. A little pricey but well worth it! Never going anywhere else. I was in there for 10 mins. max and now have 2 bathing suits that actually fit me :)

This shop has many current styles in an array of colors. The staff (I believe her name is Ashley) was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She helped guide me to what I want as well as ideas to wear the pieces in different ways. Will definitely get my future suits here. Thank you!

Walking down Newport Blvd. Looking for something more to buy, mostly a bohemian top but ended up dropping some major bricks here.
When I went inside one of the staff was helping out a customer, the other straightening up the displays. Both greeted me and one asked if I needed any assistance. I briefly browsed came back later in the afternoon with a wallet.
Though small definitely have a good bathing suit selection. The staff is available but doesn’t push. If you are soon to go on vacay and is in need of a few cute pieces in the suitcase this place is worth a check out. The items I was looking at seemed priced between the expensive department stores and the proper fashion stores. They have brands like Miko, L. Space, and Gypsy 5. Definitely not the place to look for a deal but well worth it if you have some money to spend.
The only down side I have to mention is the lack of parking. Perhaps it’s due to the weekend. I had to park next door at The Old Spaghetti Factory which later charged me 10 bones. Foolish me.

My new little treasure for swim suits! Walked in and Rebecca immediately greeted me & then became my personal shopper. Needed help finding just the right fit for my DDs and small bottoms and she pulled a few pieces for me to try. A couple I wouldn’t have picked on my own but she encouraged me to give them a chance, and of course I loved them all! It was super hard to choose, but ended up purchasing two and love them! Great customers service with a large selection of bathing suits. I have been with my wife several times here and they have always been helpful and very friendly. I went the other day without my wife to buy her a gift and it was nice that they had on file what ones she had already and her sizes. Thank you for having great customer service!

I used to only shop with Molly Browns. Honestly, they have cute swim but lately I have been having a hard time finding good swimwear. The customer service is pretty good up until you decide you don’t want to purchase anything. Personally I’m starting to like Dianes better. They have a larger selection of brands and styles and its a little less as far as cost

Love Bikini shopping here they have a large selection. A perfect mix of classy and sexy. The Sales associates are super friendly and very helpful.

I went in here to browse one day after brunch and well, I should have known better.
I was honestly expecting a snooty vibe, but the girls in here were so helpful, honest, and not pushy in the least. I expressed what I was looking for, what I felt comfortable with, and the sales girl picked out a perfect suit for me. The suits are definitely high quality and you also get high quality treatment. Can’t wait to wear it — thanks ladies!

I love Molly Browns!!! My sister and I were there yesterday and all the girls were super helpful. We tried on tons of suits and they helped us pick out stuff that was great for our body types. They even had us try on some stuff we would never pick out and we ended up loving them. They have a huge selection of suits from conservative to skimpy and all the great brands. I’ve bought all my suits from Molly Browns over the last few years and I won’t be going anywhere else!

I have been going to Molly Browns for bikinis for the last 6−8yrs…I have NEVER had a bad experience! I go with the intention to buy a well made and better fitting suit every year and am always incredibly satisfied (no matter what the cost as it is well worth it!) The service ALWAYS is incredible and immensely helpful — The GIrls are awesome and always aim to please… I have referred many friends there and will continue to visit :-)

Molly Brown’s has the best selection of swimwear, but on top of that, the salespeople are super knowledgeable about every single swimsuit — from fit to color. I have shopped with them purely over the phone since I am calling from Northern California (and they are in Southern California) and I have never been rushed off the phone. They take their time to give me suggestions, based on my body type, and also can tell me exactly what size to get based on what I tell them about myself and the cut of that particular style and brand of swimsuit, and they have never been wrong. I have shopped with them a couple summers over the last 2.5 years and they have consistently demonstrated a high level of customer service each time I have called. In fact, the first time I shopped with them, the salesperson that I spoke to actually called me a few days later to check in with me and also tell me about the swimsuit line that she thought I may be interested in, based on the styles I picked/​bought in my first order with them.
Maybe because I am also in California, but I received my swimsuits within a couple business days.
I’d definitely continue to shop here and recommend them to my friends, who are looking for trendy, cool, and non-​conventional swimwear.

I love Molly Brown! They carry super cute bikinis and every time I have been in there, the girls have been really helpful. Don’t pay any attention to the negative reviews… it’s a great shop, helpful salesgirls and a convenient location! I will continue to buy all of my ‘kinis from here! Muah!

So I live in Huntington and I usually do my shopping at the local bikini shops around here but I have just got so tired of the horrible customer service and pushy sales people! It was a breath of fresh air walking into Molly Browns. It’s not overwhelming but they have a HUGE selection to choose from! I didn’t even know where to start! But it all was sectioned off by designers and colors which would help you shop our own. I was approached by their sales girl and I already had my guard up ready to say I’m fine and just looking. But she approached as if she was truly interested in helping me and asked me several questions to narrow down my search. She was so sweet and was very informative! She defiantly seemed experienced and in no way came off as a pushy sales person. Out of any shopping you could do, bikini shopping is the hardest! And to have a helpful girl put up with my crazy body complaints and really help me find the right suit for me was so amazing!
I am only doing my shopping for my bikinis here from now on! Weather it’s for summer or a trip I know I’ll find what I need here!

I stopped by with my 5 year old daughter on my way home from whale watching. The salespeople were super friendly and not pushy. I spent most of my time looking through the sale section, and the Sales associate helped me find some tops in the style I was looking for. Now, trying to buy a bikini while your 5 year old daughter is with you can be tough. It’s a hurricane of «Mom! I see your butt!!! Mom! MOM MOM MOM! Your boobies are showing MOM MOM» typically. However this delightful woman actually carried on a 10 – 15 minute conversation with my daughter, which allowed me to try on all of the suits I had found in peace. I look forward to going back next year for a new suit.
As for the no returns policy — it was clearly explained to me upon checkout. I don’t think a small boutique not accepting returns is really all that uncommon. It’s not Target!

This is my first Unilocal review. Worst service EVER! Between my friend and I we spent almost $ 300 and when we checked out, they would only give us one shopping bag because «you need to by at least four items for 2 shopping bags.» REALLY!!! I laughed and thought she was joking. They put my friends $ 100 bathing top in a Chinese take-​out box. Who does that! They were so rude. Horrible service. The only reason for one star is their products and brands are the best and its hard to find stores that carry these brands.

This store is «ok» the pros: you can find brands like Acacia and Mikoh which are super cute but difficult to find in brick and mortar stores. You can find random pieces which you may not be able to find elsewhere.
The cons: Some of those random pieces are last year’s collection being sold at full price. I pointed out the pieces and was like «oh, I got a lot of the Mikoh Seaberry Discovery Stripe last year, are these on sale?» And the girl’s response was «oh no, these won’t be on sale for like 3 years since they are still full price online». Ok, really? I bought mine for 50% off online last December. There is no way anyone is paying $ 100 for it — good luck with that. Then I started googling and a LOT of their stuff can be found on sale online for at least 40% less — probably more now that half the season has passed.
In short: this place is great if you are looking for super rare random pieces by brands that don’t go on sale. This place sucks for everything else unless you are ok with being gauged.

2 years in a row when its time to buy a new swim suit for the summer I have gone to Molly Brown’s because I know they will have the kind I like. I won’t be returning. Last year it was dramatic (see 2 reviews down) and this year, when my order came, it was incorrect and I returned everything, and now I have only been refunded for the items that came to me (not the entire order) so I have to present them with what i SHOULD have been refunded for. I really feel a smaller company such as this should be super all OVER the customer service and I feel like every time I go to them its some sort of drama.

First of all, I’m reluctant to leave negative Unilocal reviews, as I understand running a business is tough, and everyone has a bad day at work every once in a while. However, I’ve had multiple bad experiences and horrible customer service at Molly Browns.
I love swimwear and live in Southern California and spend hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars annually on swimwear. Here are my issues:
1. The website is terrible. The photos don’t enlarge when you click. They are all different models and photography and are sometimes grainy. They don’t have alternate views and other views of the colors. They charge a re-​stocking fee, which is crazy. If you return immediately with the tags on, it should be fine. Swimwear is difficult to fit and must be tried on and if you’re in the business of online swimwear, returns will be a factor.
2. Last year the employees didn’t go to work. Last year we made the hour drive to Newport Beach from LA specifically go buy swimwear. We arrive at the time the store opens. There were no employees in the store. One girl showed up, but didn’t have keys. She said the girl who had the keys was having car trouble. They didn’t open the store for a full hour later. I don’t know how this happens, but if I didn’t that at work, I’d get fired. Take a cab, call an owner or manger, but figure out how to open your store.
3. I just ordered $ 900 worth of bikinis. They took a week to arrive, which is strange since they are coming from Orange County, an hour from where I live. The order was incomplete. I only received half of my order. I also received a random bikini top I did not order at all. There were 5 items missing from the order. What am I going to do with half a swimsuit? I need to return the entire order, and at this point, I’m just going to go to a bikini store here in LA. So I called to inform them of the situation. I don’t want to wait a week for the other items. I just want a refund and I’ll go shopping here in LA when I get off work today as I needed the bikini for this weekend. I was given attitude, and really had to fight hard to not pay a «re-​stocking fee» even though my order was incorrect and incomplete.
Even though Molly Brown’s has a great selection, I won’t be shopping here again. Dianne’s in Manhattan Beach has a comparable selection and they will be receiving my business from now on.

I’m basing my review on the website alone. (I won’t even go into detail with the typography and whatnot… just the important stuff.)
I’ve never been to the store as I live in the East Coast… so I made an order online. Except, I completely regret this decision. The website has its pros and cons. The only pro is that Molly Brown carries 90% of my favorite swimsuit brands. Oh, but the cons… Here are few:
1– I can’t even zoom in on an image cause it rarely ever loads. The images provided are just how the front of the bikini looks… not the back.
2– I can’t even order something and have it get sent to a different address than my billing… it sucks when it comes to gift giving.
3– The person who takes care of the online sales is either on vacation or not available.
4– The people that work there are delinquents. Why would you charge my card when the bikini I wanted wasn’t even in stock?
5– Why do I have to speak with everyone and their mothers just to get one simple thing done? (Canceling an order.)
6– No, I don’t want just the bottom shipped… what good does that do? I still need a top, genius.
7– No, I don’t want a store credit. I don’t even live in California. WTF?!
My advice to Molly Brown:
Hire a new designer and an online sales person that actually is available, STAT. And please make ordering online easier for the people that don’t live in the Newport Beach area. Or better yet, get rid of the option to shop on-​line. Thanks.

Every year about this time, I starve myself all day, get a little tan and go into to Molly’s and buy a few bikinis. Today was that day and I am so disappointed!
While the store seems filled, upon closer inspection I find that it is totally depleted. Everything is either XS or L. Nothing in between. The shopgirl says, «yeah, we are pretty sold out». Hello??? It is May 2^nd! Most of the bikinis were one particular style and then lots of colors and prints in that style. So, if you don’t like that cut of bottoms you are S.O.L.
Such a bummer… I’m sad.
