We don’t believe in standard sizes. We come to your home or office for a style consultation and each suit and shirt is hand made specific to your measurements. Then we fine tune everything so it fits you perfectly.

No matter your body type (big and tall, athletic, lean, short sizes, etc.) or style preferences we can work with you in your consultation to fit your needs. Choose from our hundreds of fabric samples sourced from all over the world and get professional fittings from tailors with years of experience.

I started Hudson Custom Suits with the goal of helping guys up their game. Working in the corporate grind, I saw too many guys treat a suit and tie as a chore rather than a tool for elevating their status and being even more successful. Since then, I have spent years teaching men how to take control of the first impressions they make and traveled the world to put together a custom suit company with the best tailors in the business.

In my 42 years of life — and 26 years of actually needing a suit — I’ve struggled with finding a suit that fit me well.
Having a body type that was a bit atypical, off the rack suits needed adjustments that often didn’t quite work out.
I held out great hope in Indochino, but it was an unmitigated disaster. I will never order from Indochino again.
I found Hudson Custom Suits on Unilocal and thought I had nothing left to lose.
Chris Hudson set up an appointment to come to my house in Brea, and spent time carefully going over my measurements and walking me through the various options (material, pattern, etc) for a custom suit.
Mr. Hudson was extremely professional, knowledgeable and prompt.
Only one month later, I was the proud owner of a new suit that fit like a glove. I had also ordered two custom shirts that were worth every penny.
Considering the cost of buying a suit and altering it, it’s far more worth it to go directly with a custom suit from Hudson Custom Suits. His suits fit almost every budget.
I was so excited at the dark navy suit I ordered that I’m looking to get a dark charcoal one for my next suit.
I highly recommend Hudson Custom Suits.

Chris, hands down, is the guy to go to for custom tailored suits and shirts! I’ve now got a couple suits from him and a handful of shirts and the difference is amazing from other suits and shirts that I’ve bought. It’s seriously night and day!
I always thought a suit was a suit and thought if it wasn’t too baggy that I was doing OK. Wow was I wrong once I got into the suits that Chris had made for me. Chris takes his tailoring to another level! His knowledge of every step of the process made me feel extremely comfortable with how the fit was going to come out and he did everything in his power to make sure that he got it exactly how I wanted it. I can’t see myself buying a suit anywhere else now.
I also got to see that Chris really puts a ton of effort into sourcing only the best materials and having lots of options for you to choose from when you are customizing your suit. AND because of how knowledgeable he is on styles and patterns, he gives great recommendations for what will go great on your suit, specific to you and your style.
The best part is that now each time I wear one of his suits I get tons of compliments about how I great I look! I always look forward to the next time I get to wear the suit!

I met Chris because I needed a new suit to apply for business schools. Chris was very professional throughout the entire process. The most difficult part was actually choosing which fabric to use because Chris has a ton of options to choose from.
The suit was amazing. The quality was impressive and it fit me perfectly. I was so happy with the end result that before starting business school, I went back to Chris and ordered two more suits.
It’s safe to say that I won’t be going anywhere else for my custom suits or custom shirts ever again.

If you follow my reviews, you know I’m often over critical and due for a nice review. Gotta say, this one is worth a great review. He didn’t just take my money and leave promises unfulfilled. He told me upfront he couldn’t get the project done in time for my big day. He didn’t stop there though, he directed me in the right direction and told me exactly what I needed to look for. THEN he gave me the rundown on fabrics, and stores so I knew what I was looking for. Very helpful, and has earned my future business. Top class businessman here.

My husband has ordered suits and several custom shirts from Hudson Custom Suits. They offer a wide variety of prints and Chris Hudson has an eye for detail. He understands that a suit is not just a shirt, pants, and coat, but that with the right fit and accessories a suit can let people know you mean business (whatever that business may be).
Hudson can also add that perfect tie, vest, or pocket square to finish off the outfit and reflect personal style.
My husband doesn’t fit the typical measurements of mass-​produced attire. He has broad shoulders for his physique, so finding a well-​fitted shirt and coat has always been a challenge. Hudson typically spots any areas that don’t fit correctly before we even see them and has them fixed in a timely manner. He is proactive in making sure that he delivers a finished product that is solid from top to bottom. I don’t think my husband will be ordering his formal wear from anyone else!
When I hear the phrase «dressed to the nines», I think of Hudson Custom Suits. There’s no better place.

A suit will take the average dude from a 6 to a 7… but a custom suit will take you to a 9. Guaranteed.
I’m a complete sucker for a guy in a well tailored suit. (And yes, we can tell the difference between a suit off the rack and a suit made for you). And gentlemen, if you’re over 25, you should have at LEAST one custom suit. C’mon. Help me take you seriously.

And Hudson is the absolute best in the suit business. Period.
My ex was particularly tall and most of his shirts/​suits were too short in the arms.

We contacted Hudson Suits to come out and fit him in a suit. The whole process was very professional. Got an awesome vibe from the dude and we just had a great experience overall.
In just a couple weeks, his suit and custom shirts arrived. And let me tell you… I have never been more attracted to him.
Moral of the story: you wear a custom suit for me, I’ll wear lingerie for you.
(ok not really. But it definitely won’t hurt your chances.)

My fiancé got his wedding suit from Chris. He came to our home and was extremely professional. We picked out exactly the type of color and fabric we wanted for our big wedding day. He measured him and said it would take about 6 – 7 weeks to get the suit and it did take that long. We also ordered two custom shirts as well. It was a good experience. We had to get 2 small things altered and it wasn’t a big deal (and no extra cost). The suit looks great on my fiancé. I know it’s going to look great for our wedding photos. Thanks Chris!

I ultimately decided to go with Hudson Custom Suits because I needed a nice pair of business slacks for job interviews on a college budget. Hudson Custom Suit fit that need perfectly for me so I decided to give them a try.
The suit pants fit me perfectly because it was made specifically for me. I am a tall guy so to find a pair of suit pants that fit that well was unique. I have received many compliments on how well the suit pants fit me and how well made they are.

I recently needed a few new suits and had previously had troubles with off the rack suits not fitting exactly right even after getting tailored. I did some research and called Chris at Hudson Custom Suits to get a quote. Chris set up a fitting for me where he took all my measurements and gave me a lot of helpful tips based on how I wanted my suit to fit. I picked out the fabrics I wanted and in about 4 weeks I had the best two suits I’ve ever worn in my life. It is a completely different feeling wearing a suit that was made just for me versus buying one off the rack.
