I cannot get enough of these frames — I am a diehard Dita fan!

I came in not knowing that there was even a Dita store in Fashion Island, and managed to get my Dita sunnies serviced.
The sunglasses I have are no longer in production but the very helpful staffer found a way to help me out :)

If your style swag is close to nonexistent. I highly suggest you upgrade AND invest your #shadegame like pronto with a pair of sunnies from Dita.
I like the optical frames especially the Grand Reserve just as much but LASIK took care of my optical needs. I could be a poser but that’s not how I roll.
My all time #1 frame so far is the Creator. Like an OG sneakerhead… I loved them that much. I bought one to rock and one to stock.
My first pair I ever got was the Midnight Special 5 years ago and that’s how the love affair began with Dita.
Even though I live closer to Melrose I still prefer to come here. It’s worth the schlep. Here at Fashion Island, the layout display is more «spacious» compared to the Melrose location. Whomever your dealing with… you should be well taken care of… superb 5 star concierge type «white glove service».
Dita Eyewear is the crème de la crème of eyewear. Those days of shopping for shades at your favorite department store will be long gone once you’ve met a pair of Ditas. That’s a promise!

The staff here is always exceptionally friendly here. I’ve came in a few times to get my shades resized and cleaned. They are always quick!

This store is so unique from any of the other stores at this mall. Along with the design of the store the customer service is really one of a kind. Dee has been really sweet and accommodating to my needs and is extremely patient. She really knows what she’s doing when finding the right eyewear for me and I couldn’t be more happy with my purchase the quality is amazing not to mention the amount of work that gets put into making a single frame. I would definitely recommend this brand for eyewear whether it be for opticals or sunglasses and Dee’s service.

Very helpful in fixing my broken glasses. The gentlemen fixed my frames and ordered new frames for only 40 bucks. While waiting I bought another pair. Great service and awesome sunglasses. Thanks!

Everyone looks at your eyes first right? Well they would if you’re wearing DITA eyewear. I’ve been going to this store for the past 4 years and can’t recommend DITA enough. All my friends have them now after ditching the overpriced low-​quality fashion brands. Here your money goes into the actual product and helpful staff, not a logo and pretentious snobs. Just hold one of these next to any of the other popular eyewear brands and you’ll see what the fuss is about.
Tommy is the store manager at the Newport Beach store and is one of the most helpful people I’ve ever come across, especially considering how personal eyewear is. He recently helped me pick out the Statesman Three for eyeglasses, and the GrandReserve Two for sunnies. I couldn’t be happier and will continue to support this great company for as long as the sun is bright and my eyesight is terrible :)

Dita Legends Eyewear
If there was a benchmark for the highest form of customer service as well as quality of a product for an Eye wear Manufacturer it would be Dita. In my view this company has a perfect business model based on the experience I have had. In 2005 I purchased my first Dita Glasses on sale for about $ 160.00 which by the way I still wear! At the Melrose store in North Hollywood from a true professional by the name of Jeff. I dropped quite a few weights on one of the arms of the frame glasses which pulled out the rivets at the frame. I brought the glasses back to Jeff at Dita I expected since they were out of warrantee that I would have pay something to repair them. Jeff took the glasses had them repaired and buffed the frames, lenses for free. About six months ago I wanted to replace the lenses to a mirrored finish I went to the Newport Beach store I again figured that it would cost me something for the replacement. Again they charged me nothing again buffed out my rims so they look brand new. It didn’t stop there since I lost my original case somehow the provided me with a brand new one free of charge.
I then made the determination that I would never buy another pair of glasses unless it was Dita. In 2013 I purchased a second pair which I use for reading for a cost of $ 400.00. I have never had and issues with the glasses at all. I think Dita uses old world craftsmanship in the production of all of their products. All of the products that I have purchased in my opinion are built as if they succumbed to military grade standards. In my opinion Dita uses Old World standards for customer service as well as sales that you almost never see anymore. Every time I have been to their locations I have asked a multitude of questions always answered to my satisfaction. I have never felt the experience of being sold at anytime in any location true professionalism at all times. I guess we know why Dita has a second part to their name Legends. Thank you for all of your great products, service, and support at all times. And you are really worth the extra cash outlay for what you provide in my opinion as Old World Values. I also want to thank Justin and Dee for their help

I would compare the quality of these sunglasses to a fine swiss watch while still keeping the price affordable. DIta’s customer service is phenomenal, buy these glasses with the peace of mind that if for some reason they do not work for you, Dita will gladly work with you to make sure you are satisfied. I have purchased a few pairs from the Newport Beach location over the last couple years and look forward to more purchases in the future.

I was introduced to this company 4 or 5 years ago by one of my best guy friends from high school. He had taken me here to go purchase his sunglasses and told me that he loved this place. They’ll pretty much change out the lenses for you to optical lenses if they are sunglasses and vice versa. He wanted me to get a pair too. At the time I had just gotten a pair of cheap ray bans from another place that had replaced my favorite rectangular tortoise shell ralph lauren frames that I had for years (they broke on me and everywhere I went, they said they couldn’t fix it). So I browsed around and came across the Royce optical glasses.
These fit my face well and I loved how they looked. They were the same kind of tortoise shell color as my ralph laurens. The staff was very knowledgeable about their products and were very friendly and helpful when choosing the right frames. Now the majority of their glasses are made from bamboo and plastic combined, in which they are very durable and strong. This optical company is based from Japan/​made in Japan. I told them I’d come back later on to possibly purchase them. Lo and behold I did a couple weeks after that visit and my friend said we were glasses buddies now lol.
Their after service is always great. They’ll clean, adjust, fix etc. any issues that you have such as popping a lens back in, tightening loose hinges, or sending it back to the shop to get it replaced or fixed with no cost (unless it’s something that needs a lot of work). At one point another guy had adjusted it for me but it didn’t feel right and later on found out that the nose piece was «stretched out» from over heating the frames and they sent it back and gave me a brand new one. Wow. Never thought they would do something like that.
The original guy that I had purchased my glasses from no longer worked there after a while (I later bumped into him at Theory in south coast plaza, where he was working as assistant manager) and eventually the majority of the people I knew there kept switching out. The guy that helps me out now, his name is Tommy. Look for him cause he’ll do wonders for you. There’s also another guy named Jason who was transferred to the Beverly Hills location and he was also really great too. Anyways, a couple months back I had accidentally bent my glasses in half (jammed between the door and I didn’t realize it was there) and at first I was amazed at how pliable they were. Normally if they were just normal plastic frames it would have snapped but they just bent in half. I took them to the store and they fixed it for me on the spot. It still needs a bit of adjustment though so I’ll be sending them out at some point this week or next.
I also have a pair of polarized tortoise shell Whitehall sunglasses which are super comfy and fits my frame well. Of all the places that I have been to, this place is the absolute best service wise and after service wise. Even if you aren’t buying, just go in and take a look if you’re near one. As far as I know the only stores available in California is the one in Beverly Hills in LA and the Fashion Island Newport location. My glasses have been through a lot but it’s still in perfect shape and condition. Best glasses ever. I’d recommend this place to everyone. :)

I LOVE this company! Dita makes THE BEST eyewear and I own 5 pairs of sunglasses/​opticals from them. I get so many compliments from people when I wear them and now I only buy Ditas (my favorites are the Plumes, Grand Reserve, and aviators).
The design and quality of all their products are truly superb. I’ve never had a problem with them breaking or malfunctioning. They are so attentive to details and the art of design. They even offer a variety of nose bridges for not only style but for comfort for various face proportions. While Dita’s are pretty expensive, they’re worth every penny. You can compare them to other brands but they come out on top every time because the make and style are so exquisite.
Every time I go into this store the salespeople are super friendly and knowledgable. When you’re buying sunglasses and opticals you want to try on everything and the salespeople don’t roll their eyes or get impatient even though you’re taking up so much of their time.
If you haven’t bought Ditas, give them a try! You’ll be hooked!

Update:
After being contacted by Dita and explaining what had happened and what has taken place, I’m completely impressed by the level of service they provide. Not only did they look into the issue and resolved it, they developed a new system in handling lens replacements for customers.
I appreciate the time they took to reach out and address my concerns! Great service by this group that will not be forgotten!

Probably the sickest glasses known to man, it’s no wonder they are a favorite among celebrities and style icon’s. I have the Grandmaster 2’s and just bought the 4’s for my brother for his birthday. Look them up, there’s only 1000 of them in the world and they are so meticulously detailed that they should be in an art exhibit. I work with high end products and really appreciate the caliber of craftsmanship that it takes to make something so special.
Bobby helped me make the purchase and was really patient. He laid out 5 or 6 highly recommended pairs for me to look at, I called ahead of time and let him know which styles I was considering. I ended up getting the 4’s because they are so unique and special and my brother’s reaction was well worth it. Happy Birthday bro and thanks Dita!

Okay I’ll admit it. I’ve got a weakness for sunglasses and it’s bad. I’d only seen Dita online when celebs like the Kardashians wear them in their daily rotation among other brands that they switch out since those guys have more money than they know what to do with. But I digress.
When walking around Fashion Island for the first time last weekend, I spotted the Dita sign and I knew instantly that I *had* to walk in and see these babies in person. Like a kid in a candy store, I could feel that excited-​ness and sense of new found discovery from seeing all these perfectly lined up frames. Oh, the colors and shapes and uniqueness of it all just captured me. I had no idea where to start and I narrowed in on one pair that caught my eye. The sales associate seemed to be as enthused as I was when I explained to him that this was my first time in a retail store. As I put the sunglasses on, I had to contain my inner glee because I did not want to lead him on. Of course I wasn’t going to buy anything. I already purchased a pair of Tom Fords that cost me *ahem* more than I should have spent on glasses period.
But it didn’t stop me from ooohing and aahhhing at the Dita sunglasses that were now sitting perfectly atop my face with their super blacked out lenses that made me feel like an instant celebrity that was trying to shade herself from all the bright lights from the paparazzi taking pictures. Ah yes, I was already in my dream state.
Fast forward 7 frames later, I made my way into the eyeglasses section and I found a pair called the «Plume» that looked like they were made for me. You know the kind of eyeglasses with the thick plastic frames that make you look nerdy yet cool? All the hipsters wear them. Yup, these were it. I believe they were about $ 400.
In my dream I busted out my black platinum card and paid for them on the spot. But reality soon called and I took them off to put them back on the shelf. Sadness ensued but I convinced myself that I would be okay. 5 days later I’m still thinking about my Dita’s.

Holy moly this place is expensive. Yep. The glasses will run you circa $ 400 a pop. But ohhh are they ever awesome.
A high end/​expensive/​overpriced/​Newport/​whatever-​you-​want-​to-​call-​it place like this can go one of two ways: superb service or snooty service. I’m very happy to say that fall squarely in the former. The service here has been beyond amazing. Even the time I came when I was just being a looky loo, they were completely friendly and not annoyed that I wasn’t looking to buy right then.
Well, it all worked out because these old Ray Ban prescription frames I’ve been rocking are beat. So, today I decided to go in and buy my first pair of schmancy glasses ever. (Not sunglasses, FYI. I’m a strong believer in cheap sunglasses only.) The awesome guy there… whose name I’m totally blanking on now… was so helpful and friendly. And suggested all sorts of frames for me and let me try on about three thousand of them without so much as an eye roll.
So far everything has been fabulous with Dita Legends, I just can’t wait to actually get my glasses in now!

DITA — definition, Awesome piece of eye-​wear.
I picked up the PRESTIGE since I was in the market for a new pair of glasses. The staff working there knows their stuff, Lani helped me out and picked out the perfect pair of glasses to complement my style. They said it would be ready in a week and a half, but I got a call 5 days later that my glasses were ready. Pretty fast service!
I am surely going to be a repeat customer when the Grandmaster II comes back in stock. I brought my sister here once and now she wants to get a new pair of sunglasses!

I got introduced to Dita eyewear about 4 – 5 years ago through working at 80’s Purple. We’ve been dating ever since and are crazy in love.
Each piece is crafted magnificently and has that old-​world swagger and vintage sensibility combined with new but subtle updates. Real classy my friends.
I brought a pair of my busted glasses in, I guess someone with a grossly fat head wore ‘em cause the arms bent way out and they wouldn’t even sit on my face anymore. Sadly after 15 minutes, the glasses couldn’t be fixed but they graciously offered to have them sent in for replacement. Now I have a new pair and am closely guarding it from would-​be wearers with melon-​sized noggins.
Thanks Dita! Now I can rock my thick rimmed glasses and blend in with all the hipster kids in Newport again!
