I had a wonderful acupuncture experience with dr peirce! I sought acupuncture for tendinitis in both my knees and both forearms. Her office is very clean. Dr peirce was very welcoming and spent a significant amount of time asking questions about my overall health before the treatment. I felt very relaxed during and after the treatments. I would highly recommend dr peirce!

Dr. Pierce is simply amazing! I was hit by a drunk driver in 2012 and haven’t been able to work out or even go a day without back discomfort. It got to the point that I absolutely had to go somewhere, I couldn’t even sit or stand up straight. I found her because, me being a Unilocaler, loved her reviews and decided to give her a shot. Gosh am I happy I did! After the FIRST visit i was out of some pain and went back a few times a week for 3 weeks and I’m cured! I no longer have daily back pain and I am back at the gym every week now without ANY pain! I wish I had found her two years ago because she is simply amazing! I HIGHLY recommend anyone even debating on going to at least a consult!

Dr. Pierce is the best chiropractor! She is very knowledgable and takes time to explain what she is doing and why. She has helped relieve my tension headache cause by clenching my teeth. She is also the best acupuncturist in Newport Beach!!! Dr. Pierce helped me through the worst flu ever with acupuncture, once I left my sore throat and sinus pressure subsided. I truly believe her needle work shortened by flu by a week compared to a coworkers flu with the same symptoms! You have to give her a try she is simply the best!

I have been dealing with wrist pain every day due to a skateboarding injury leading to surgery about 12 years ago. I have tried pretty much anything you can think of to relieve the pain. So far the best remedy for pain has been acupuncture. Tara is the best Acupuncturist in Newport Beach. I love how she really takes the time to understand your pain (s) and consistently asks for updates every time you visit her.
Aside from that, I also believe Tara is the best Chiropractor around. Being the active person that I am, there’s pretty much always something wrong with me. Haha. I guess that’s just the price you pay. So again, I love how she is always asking a lot of questions and really getting to the root of the problem. I know there are many Chiropractors out there, but I highly suggest you give Tara a shot. I promise you won’t be disappointed. Good luck!

Dr. Pierce has been amazing! After years of abuse due to snowboards and skateboards, my knee was a mess. It was hard to finish a full winter of riding and running was just a wish. Tara was able to work on it for a few sessions, give me some simple exercises, and I’m now running a mile every morning no problem! Such an awesome person and extremely knowledgeable. My boyfriend has been suffering from terrible back pain ever since I’ve known him and in only two visits so far, Dr. Pierce has him so enthusiastic that he is on his way to recovery! Dr. Pierce is an outstanding chiropractor, treating me for the past two and a half years. She has been able to help keep my back pain free and has helped me improve my overall health. Dr. Pierce has been nothing short of amazing and a life saver.
Sometime in July 2015 I woke up with severe pain, tightness, stiffness in my lower back. Initially, primary care physician referred me out for physical therapy which didn’t help. Eventually I was seen by an orthopedist and sent out for diagnostic testing. According to the orthopedist, my results were all negative. The orthopedist opined that «back problems just happen.» His solution for my back was drugs — lots of drugs.
Eventually in September 2015, I wound up in the emergency room because my back pain became intolerable. I was given more drugs in the emergency room. The following day I was given a Cortizone shot to my L4-​L5 and a prescription for more drugs; this time more powerful drugs.
The Cortizone and the drugs did not help. They simply masked my pain. Again the prescribed treatment was more drugs. In fact, I was offered another cortisone shot 2 weeks after my initial shot.
In sum, I was seen by pain management doctor, my primary care practitioner, an orthopedist, a physical therapist and two different chiropractors. No one offered help. No one offered any real explanation. Everyone gave me «cookie-​cutter» treatment like stretch and take these drugs.
I was in terrible pain. My life as I knew it had drastically changed. I’m an active person and regularly exercise 3 to 4 times a week. I’m also an attorney and do a lot of sitting in an office. My back pain made every aspect of my life difficult.
Thankfully, I did some research and found Dr. Pierce on Unilocal.I gave her a shot and I’m happy to say it’s one of the better decisions I have made.
My initial evaluation was long and thorough, not just a quick «what hurts you» 15 minute evaluation. After the evaluation she pinpointed the potential problem areas in my body and give me a specific treatment plan of action to address my issues.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Pierce for approximately two months, both for chiropractic care and acupuncture. I’m almost pain-​free!!! My life has returned back to normal. I can exercise again, work around the house, and do all the things I used to do prior to my back injury.
What I really appreciate about Dr. Pierce is her commitment to educating her patients. What I mean by that, is she really takes the time to explain what is happening in my body and how her treatment plan will help with my symptoms.
I apologize for the lengthy review, but I couldn’t help it! I was miserable before I saw Dr. Pierce because exercise, the outdoors and leading an active lifestyle are so much of who I am. For a while I thought that part of my life was permanently taken from me.
Dr. Pierce gave me my life back. She’s the best.

Dr. Tara Pierce is fantastic! She is an excellent acupuncturist and an even better doctor. I have been going to chiropractors/​acupuncturists for the last couple years and she is one of the best that I have found (and trust me there are def some rough ones out there…). I’m a professional pilot so I deal with general pain associated with my job. Dr. Tara was thorough and attentive in learning of my medical history and together we developed a chiro/​acup treatment plan that is keeping me moving and pain free. Her office is conveniently located, clean and professional and scheduling is a breeze.
I always look forward to the end of my week when Dr. Tara fixes me up from a stressful work week. I recommend her to all my friends and family so go see her!

She was easy to schedule with, sent me a reminder, checked my insurance upon request the day before my exam, sent me the needed new patient paperwork in advance, took the time to listen and ask questions regarding my issues, and took a gentle/​holistic approach to resolving my issues. She sent me home with a plan (exercises) to strengthen the small muscles needed to hold me in place more efficiently, and I’m incredibly satisfied!
I have a very active lifestyle (retired ballerina that still performs, plus yoga twice a week, pilates twice a week, biking four times a week and long distance running twice a week) and I was able to get back into my routine after a simple adjustment. Dr. Pierce now has me relearning how to simply stand more efficiently with less pain (instead of turned out from ballet) and this is also making a huge difference!

Dr. P is nothing short of amazing! I had my first visit with her and I can already tell you she is above the rest. She is knowledgeable in all aspects of the body and its physiology. She really takes the time to both listen to and examine your body before executing treatment. I truly felt like I was in the best of hands. I will definitely be going back to her for my sciatic issues!

I love Tara! Not only is she a total doll but my back is better then ever! I’m a hairdresser so I’m on my feet 12 hours a day, not to mention bending over most of the day as well. My back was starting to be the worst part of my day from waking up to going to sleep! I’m 25! I found Tara through a client and was immediately impressed. She was so comforting and explained everything to me in detail. I go in for weekly adjustments and she also gives me exercises to practice at home to help with my posture! Each visit begins with a short update on my condition and any changes since the last treatment. I have never told that I had to come 3x a week or been put on a program that is seemingly endless.
