I am basing this review solely on the pizza. I am from the east coast and have been on a quest to find good pizza since I moved here last year. The large sign out front that said best pizza in America had me tempted. I decided to try for myself. The medium half cheese half sausage pizza cost me $ 25. In New Jersey you get a large 18″ for $ 10. This pizza is comparable to Pizza Hut. It is doughy and the crust starts in the middle of the pie. It is also extremely salty. The atmosphere looks like it could be a fun family night out, but I am very upset about the amount I spent on this pizza and I only ate one slice. Just wish I could get my money back…

I knock it down one star for service. The people are pretty nice, but the waits are terrible. You could stand there waiting for a to go box or lid for something for 10 minutes before anyone asks you if they can help. It’s really a simple concept, customers first. Don’t have people standing around waiting. I remember standing there for 25 minutes in a small line just to order a pizza. Cmon, get people through the lines faster and your business will grow. Now, the pizza to me is hands down the best in SCV. We stopped going to papa johns as they really started screwing up our orders and Vincenzo’s has great tasting pizza, so that is the whole 4 stars.

Pizza is mediocre or less. Cheese doesn’t stay on. Sauce is boring. Crust is annoying. Forgot side order and when it arrived it looked nasty and old. Tap beer was weird, Dos XX tasted same as Stella. Something in the air was chemically agitating. Cooks and staff appear to be either tweakers or sketchy. Clientele is even sketchier and proud of it. Hispanic woman plopped down in front of me and mad dogged me until I decided to leave then she started cackling w/laughter. Fuck that. Wish I took a picture. Outside, there was a tweaking hooded meth head. I had to throw out pizza as it made us feel weird. Raid this place but for God’s sake don’t eat there unless you are a tweaker.

As usual, my ratings start with 5 stars and I subtract one for every negative. As you can see there were none. The food was good. The service was very friendly. There was even a band playing which was nice. Loud but nice. In fact we ate in the other room and could still hear the music perfectly. I am not from here and staying at a nearby hotel. It was nice to have s place like this within walking distance. They do deliver but I wanted to get out of the room for a little bit. Over all it was a nice place and we would go back.

This is the best pizza you can get in my opinion. The only down side is the prices; but that being said you get what you pay for both in quality and quantity. The cheese and dough they use are amazingly delicious. I certainly recommend giving it a shot!

Amazing food. But if you are calling in an order and taking it to go be prepared to wait 15 – 30 minutes extra when you get there(even after they say thirty minutes only, so total an hour). Even if nobody is in the restaurant. Minus one star for the always 30 minute wait on top of when they tell you your food will be ready.

Let me start by saying I love the pizza at Vincenzos but as far as the customer service it stinks!!! Twice we have walked in 30 min before closing at they don’t want to serve you! Even before we started to order the girl at the counter let us know they close at 9 so only doing take out orders, REALLY!!! Since when is that remotely okay! I’m not walking in 5 minutes before to get food it’s 30 minutes! I understand the employees want to go home but happened to good customer service??? So once again we left without food! I wonder how owner feels knowing he is losing business because of this policy? I wondering if he even knows they are doing this? Because I have had several problems with the girls who work there I won’t back and I have been eating there for 16 years!

Not a great experience. Had to wait over an hour for a takeout order because they didn’t make part of it. After about 45 minutes the women at the register offered to refund part of the order we were waiting on because it wasn’t made yet which I couldn’t do because there wasn’t enough food with just the pizza. When we did get the food the pizza was cold and the additional food we had waited was mediocre overall.

Horrible experience! Stop by because it looked very good on Unilocal but didn’t get service! My husband and I walked in and sat down and waited about 15 mins. Waitress did not bother to offer us menus or drinks there was only 2 families there so it wasn’t even busy we decided to just leave since we weren’t being helped!

Oily food but fantastic service! We ordered the family meal which came to $ 30. It came with a salad, 4 garlic cheesy breads, a large pizza, and a pitcher of soda. Salad– 5/5, For the salad you have a choice of Caesar salad or a garden salad. We got the Caesar and it was good! It had all the usual Caesar salad ingredients but this one was special! It was very tasty. Garlic cheesy bread– 2/5, extremely oily. It was dripping with oil. I was feeling sick after eating it. It was just too much oily ingredients in one. Pizza– 3/5, we just ordered a plain cheese. The crust was wonderful! It was fluffy and light. The actually pizza was okay. Again, it was very oily. There was a heck of a lot of cheese, and barely any sauce. Service– 5/5, the owner was extremely friendly! He kept coming up to talk to us. He was very sweet. Overall an okay pizza place. The owner is very nice, but very persistent. The food is average in terms of taste and the amount of oil is crazy!

Vincenzos Pizza on Lions Ave in Newhall has the most amazing pizza! Not all Vincenzos are the same, this is not a chain. This pizza is a must try, they use a Napoli recipe for the crust that is incomparable to anything you have tried before! They also have a large room perfect for events and also have live music on the weekends. Steve, the Owner is a very nice man who likes to accommodate his quests. Go check it out!

I love the pizza from here. We get it delivered to our work, and they’ve been pretty quick at getting the food to us. Back to the pizza. It has that chewy dough that you crave, if you’re a crust eater, or even a crust snacker this is the pie for you. They do it right. The cheese is always a good amount, and tastes good, quality toppings, and lots of them! A small is big so know what you’re getting yourself into. I can share a small with my co-worker, and we still have a slice or two left over. Always have the correct order from them, and ordering is a breeze. They’re good with pizza. What more can you say?

I live several blocks from this establishment and always wanted to give them a try. I went there on a Sunday evening when it was very quiet. We ordered a medium pizza and took forever. There was nobody in the establishment and then my buddy got up and went over to see what was taking so long. Eventually we got our pizza and it was not properly cooked. The doe was not cooked in the center and was gummy/soggy wet. The outer crust was hard. I was pressed to get up and take it back but was starving. I think they messed up our pizza and were attempting to correct it because it took us close to 45 minutes to an hour with only four patrons in the dinning room. On account of us waiting so long, we got free refills. The people are friendly and nice but if you are a pizza purist, then you will be disappointed. To put it in a frame of mind, Dominos and Pizza Hut are nothing to write home about but better than this place. The eating area reminded me of my School’s cafeteria and a lot of kids seem to come here. I really wanted to give this place a thumbs up but will not return. The pizza is also way pricey and more than one should pay. They have blues music on the second Sunday of every month and if you really enjoy that type of music, you should come but opt for the salad, if that helps.

just like i remember this place was my childhood pizza place. was home visiting called for delivery the pizza is the same yummy toppings and thick huge fluffy chewy crunch crust you can take off some of the topping, then stuff the crust and have a little sandwich at the end of eating each slice so much fun expensive, but worth it.

UPDATE: the owner, Steven, has been contacting me non stop via Unilocal messages — continuing to be rude, even though I have told him TWICE to stop contacting me. No, I will NOT remove my one star review because I received LESS than one star service. Steven is 100% out of line & it is AMAZING to me how a person of his density can run a business. Think twice before ordering from here, because you’ll have to endure the wrath of the owner Steven.
