History

Established in 1967.

This business was established by Howard and Floydd Jones in the 60’s. After changing hands several times Jay Tallent purchased the business in 1992 and operated at the same location until 2006 when the business was closed. Fast forward to March 2012, Newhall Carburetor has opened in a new location. Newhall Carburetor is sharing space with Engine Dynamics 24 144 Newhall Ave, Newhall, CA 91 321

I moved to Newhall in 1964 and attended Newhall Elemetary, Placerita Jr High, Wm S. Hart High and College of the Canyons. After 4 years in the Marines, I returned to Newhall and have owned and operated Tallents Auto Repair, Newhall Carburetor and Newhall Smog Check. I am a certified ASE Master Technician. I also maintain Smog, Brake and Lamp Licenses.
