Our training team offers on-site group classes, board & train service or private in-home sessions for complete obedience, AKC CGC (Canine Good Citizen) training and specific problem solving. Additionally, we train and certify therapy and emotional support dogs for personal service for individuals in need.

We operate with a passionate group of professional staff trained in pet CPR & First Aid, including an after-hours animal tech so our guests are NEVER alone. After all, taking care of dogs is what we do best.

All revenue from services funds our core rescue mission.

History

Established in 1997.

New Leash On Life Rescue Foundation was established in 1997 with a mission to rescue homeless dogs from City and County shelters, rehabilitate them and re-home them with forever families. We have a rich history in the rescue industry and our community providing education and training in responsible pet ownership to adults and children.

Since 2005 our Lend A Paw program has trained volunteer dog & handler teams to visit facilities and provide Animal Assisted Therapy for individuals experiencing physical, mental, emotional or life challenges in care facilities, schools for children with special needs and veteran groups including our own P.E.T.S. program which hosts field trips at our facility for children from community schools for interaction, education and improved reading skills.

Our support efforts have also extended to Search & Rescue disaster relief missions throughout the nation including Hurricanes Gustov, Katrina, Rita and the wild fires of Southern California.
