K9 Manners Matter is currently offering private lessons for both individuals and families. Every dog has their own personality, so we believe no two dogs should be trained exactly the same. We are here to create a unique plan that works just for you and your dog. We offer training in basic commands, more advanced off-leash work, behavioral issues, and puppy basics. We also specialize in working with shelter dogs and dog nutrition.

Did you know that dog trainers don’t actually have to be certified to train your dog? But K9 Manners Matter Owner and Trainer Colleen is not only a certified dog trainer and veterinary assistant, but also has a bachelors of science degree in animal science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a concentration in veterinary science.
