The owner replied to me as soon as I posted a review online. She accused that the hair I found in my frozen yogurt was «an eyelash from anyone near my cup», which implying myself and my 6 year old daughter. The owner also defended her employee Keily who snapped and stared at us by saying she didn’t see Keily did that in the surveillance video. But seriously, would anyone be able to see an eye movement from that?
Let me put it clear. First, it was a hair mixed in the frozen yogurt. It was not mine as my hair is much longer. Also it was absolutely not an eyelash, it was thicker and longer. Second, it was Keily who snapped at us, and stared at us. It was noboby else but her, and it happened right after I got my replacement and all three of us felt that, including my daughter. Third, I told the male employee about that and he spontaneously said she was somestimes grumpy which I felt the same. Forth, I called your office and left my phone number on April 2^nd but nobody bothers to call me back. I wrote an email to Zoe and got one standard reply, just like those from some giant national business, that you don’t feel your concern was taken seriously. Fifth, I have come to Zoe, treated people to Zoe and finished three or four punch cards. However I don’t have to praise or to promote your business on a social media. I can do it if I want to, but I am not to be blamed or questioned if I don’t do it. It’s my account not yours. You should focus on your quality control and your customer service than how I want to use my account. Finally, I am not difficult to be pleased and I value integrity. If the hair in my frozen yogurt belonged to your employee, no need to argue that it could be my eyelash. Just admit it and change it. Everyone makes mistake. What bothers me is your attitude. Now I know what kind of business you are. Rest assured that we are not coming back again.

We had a very bad experience there on April 2^nd 2016. My mom, my 6 year old daughter and I bought three and I found a hair in my container (not my hair as mine is much much longer). I showed it to the male cashier and he immediately told me to grab another one. While I was grabbing the replacement, the other staff called Keily whispered something with him, then she began SNAPPING at me, then STARING at me all the way when I picked the toppings. I felt quite weird, but thought that might be unintentional.
I went back to my table, told my mom about that. Both she and my daughter said Keily stared at them very angrily too.
Until then I realized that Keily was targeting at us because I got a replacement. I wanted to talk to her, but she went inside. I told the male cashier about this, he said Keily is sometimes «grumpy».
I wrote an email to Zoe and received a standard reply that it’s their store policy that they offer replacement and they will talk to her.
I think I will still come to Zoe, however I would love to see Zoe hiring someone that is not so «grumpy». Also to Keily, shame on you to go off on a 6 year old, then hide inside when her mom wants to talk to you. Don’t underestimate people, we can afford to pay our frozen yogurt.

Best frozen yogurt anywhere, people are nice and friendly, but what keeps me coming back are all the flavors plenty to choose from and they change them out frequently. Keep up the good work. Guava, grapefruit and peach are the favorite.

I don’t frequent frozen yogurt, so I’m not an expert. The flavors were ok, only really liked a couple, but the strawberry was out-​of-​this-​world-​good! The rest were just so-​so, but I like that they encourage to taste and try all of the flavors before you commit to any! Good selection of mix-​ins and the staff member was friendly. All in all pretty good!

Best froyo in town!!! I am going to go back soon. Goo price

Good that they use yo cream yougurt. Flavors are ok but they don’t seem to think about the mix of flavors to make sure they have something for everyone. The place is dark and cave like. Pretty uninmaginative. The staff are friendly but there is no discount like Peaks for yogurt only. Not sure how often they fully clean the machines because some have a sour flavor that is unlike other chains.

Nice little yogurt shop! Conveniently located within the heart of New Castle shopping plaza! The place is pretty big for a yogurt place! It has 5 – 6 tables and two small couches, great for hanging out with friends while chumping on some cool yogurt! It also opens till pretty late, perfect for dessert time! I loved their very strawberry flavor! Super rich! They also cheesecake, peach, chocolate mint, cookie dough, etc! I noticed that most of their yogurts were white in color which I thought was a plus, less food coloring! :D

I prefer a very tart original frozen yogurt flavor, and theirs was just not tart enough for my taste. Just a personal preference which is why I have this place three stars. They also did not have much fresh fruit toppings and what they had was more of the canned variety.
But the coconut flavor was actually really good (which is what I got) so 3.5 stars for that!

Best froyo on the eastside. They have rotating flavors and a good choice of toppings that include fresh fruit. They charge by the weight and the price is comparable to Yogurtland. My favorite are the pistachio, cheesecake, and tart berry flavors.

First visit here. It was hot inside. Gals working said hi but not overly friendly. We sampled the flavors but for me, only 1 was really good. Many were weird, and some were just ok. I opted not to get anything. My family however did get bowls and I sampled them. Again, most were just ok. In fact, it seemed like you needed the toppings to make it taste good.
We just moved here from an area with 5 self serve froyo places to choose from, so I had high expectations and this place just fell short. However, the family ate theirs happily, hence the 3^rd star.
I will come back to try again…

After having gone to just about every froyo place in the Seattle area, this location is one of my favorites. I’ll choose to drive an extra 5 – 10 minutes to this froyo shop rather than one right down the street. As with most frozen yogurt shops, they charge by weight and allow the customer to serve themselves by mixing and matching a variety of froyo flavors and choosing from a good sized (not overwhelming with the number of toppings, but plenty to choose from) toppings bar.
The set up keeps any line moving smoothly, as you essentially move in an oval from when you enter the store to leaving. As a person that gets easily annoyed by places that have inefficient set ups, it is a sense of relief to see the simple fix in a froyo place. Oh, and of course they’re very clean and the workers are always friendly.
The flavors of froyo always include at least one dairy free option, and are clearly labeled. I’d like to see some more creative flavors, but that might be because I’m too frequent of a visitor!

We love going here. The yogurt is sold by weight. It is kept very clean and the toppings always look fresh. I appreciate that they compost and use sustainable /​recyclable materials.

Friendly staff first off. The yogurt is always being refreshed and renewed and reinvented. Which is great, except when you find a flavor you really like and it’s not available. That being said, great tasting yogurt, you can tell they use great ingredients.

Love this place. It’s like yogurt land where you can make your own, then weigh and pay. I get to put as much mochi as I want. They only have one size though so if you don’t have much self control like me, it’s hard not to fill it up and OD on awesome froyo and toppings. They’re open til 10 too! so it’s a potential study spot, only it’s always been packed the few times we’ve been here so it gets loud. New fave though! Better than shnoo which is closer to where I live.

Its Great to have a Yogurt Shop in Newcastle. First the yogurt is Good, that a given! However They really need to have 2 Sorbets… A bit more of a selection for the people that cant have dairy! Flavors need to be rotated out a bit more often.
The Actual shop itself, Needs some serious wall art, something its so bare in there! The poor employees on hot/​sunny days Need some-​kind of blinds/​shades to be able to put down to block the heats and bright sun. A number of times we have to wear our sunglasses in there.
Most of the employees are really nice and friendly. There are a couple that are really Great to see when we go in there, others seems to be a bit snotty.
All and all We would give this place a 3.5 star now. Add a 2^nd Sorbet choice and some Wall Decorations 4.5−5 star easily.

The yogurt is yummy! Self service is nice, but some help when little ones are there would be better… it always weirdos me out a bit when kids touch the toppings… not sure where their hands have been…
The product is yummy and everything is compostable. They have a stamp card.
So far our family favorites are the following:
Peanut butter
Pistachio
Toasted marshmallow
Lemon
The service is lacking, but what do you expect when you hire teenagers. They are not rude, just need to work on their friendliness and helpfulness. They need to stop talking when customers are in the store.
The yogurt will keep you coming… :)

Love the yogurt here, love that everything there is compostable (spoons/​cups/​napkins), and the cute chalk labeling of flavors. Also it’s in a good location and they have punch cards so I will return here regularly. Overall the setting is average and the one thing needing improvement is the service. I like and appreciate that there are typically two people working the counter, but I have yet to experience warmth or friendliness, which is important to me at any business, particularly so in a small one. The best description I can provide for all my experiences there thus far from employees is *indifferent.* If I were assigning stars for customer service it’d be 1 star. Overall though, I’m pleased about the location, quality, taste, and variety of flavors of yogurt, and therefore giving 4 stars.

Yum! These guys always have awesome favors! It’s hard to find original tart which is my favorite and I love love love that they have it! Plus they have an AMAZING peanut butter froyo that’s to die for! :)

It’s no secret that I love me some Fro-​yo. Period. This place is close to my work so I will stop in on a nice warm day for a little mid day treat. They rotate the flavors a lot which is nice and every kind that I have ever had, was great. I love their tart and it is just that, tart. I love that they have a large selection of flavors and toppings, fresh fruit and candies.
Prices are a little more than yogurt land, cherry de pon etc but I don’t mind since it is close and everything there is compostable.
Staff has always been friendly :)

This place is the truth. Love that the many flavors rotate so I’m forced to try something new every time — today was tart blueberry acai with almonds and strawberries on top… yummmmyyyyy.

This a great froyo place and the added bonus: it’s close to my house.
Overall the frozen yogurt here tastes very similar to other places like Yogurtland, Peaks, etc, except the price is a little bit higher but all their containers and utensils are compostable so that’s a plus!
They change flavors regularly, it’s always fun to come over and see what they have that day.

Set up is AWKWARD! Sneeze guards over toppings come so far out and the counters are so low that you essentially have to (for a tall person like me) bend down and sideways while reaching in trying to grasp at the toppins in the back — — - - (loss of major points there)
It used to be a quiznos so I assume they just took over their set up and didn’t account for people having to bend over to get to the toppings. Sure, it’s a small gripe — but this is the internet, that’s what it was made for right? lol …
Over all it’s a decent place that’s close to my home + points for that one.
