History

Established in 1977.

In 1977, Ambrosi Donahue & Co., P.C. was established when two CPAs, Tom Ambrosi and Mike Donahue, located the firm in Newburyport, Massachusetts.

In 1997, the firm became Ambrosi Donahue Congdon when it merged with the practice of Keith N. Congdon, CPA, an international accounting, audit and tax practice with considerable corporate and accounting expertise.

In 2006, Keith Congdon became president of Ambrosi Donahue Congdon.

Business Owner

Keith brings his vision and expertise to each of the firm’s clients by working diligently with his staff to provide high caliber accounting services and strategic tax and financial advice.

His particular expertise is in the areas of tax, accounting, and auditing services for closely-​held businesses and their shareholders, primarily in manufacturing, technology, and service industries. He also works with nonprofit organizations and is knowledgeable in the ERISA audit requirements of employee benefit plans.

Prior to joining Ambrosi Donahue Congdon, Keith began his career with Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC) as an auditor of publicly traded companies. He later joined The Stackpole Corporation in Boston, Massachusetts as a corporate officer. While there, Keith was actively involved in the initial public offering on the Toronto Stock Exchange of Stackpole Limited, a wholly-​owned subsidiary
