History

Established in 2009.

Opened in September 2009, The Allison Inn & Spa achieved LEED Gold Certification in April 2010. Recent accolades include being named in Condé Nast Traveler’s TOP 100 Hotels in the U.S. and Fodor’s Top 100 Hotels in the World, and receiving top honors in TripAdvisor.com’s Traveler’s Choice awards for spas.

In 2012, Travel & Leisure bestowed numerous honors on the hotel, including #1 Hotel Spa in the US, #5 Hotel Spa in the World, #1 Wine Country Hotel in the US, and #4 Wine Country Hotel in the World. This recognition is unlikely to stop there, with the talented management and staff earnestly dedicated to providing an authentic destination experience to the finest wine region in the world.

Meet the Manager

Pierre Z.

Manager

Pierre is a class act, a true gentleman, a consummate professional & fun boss, but if there is one word to describe him, it’s «hotelier».

Originally from Lebanon, Pierre trained at at Lycée Technique Hôtelière in Grenoble, France. Immediately following, Zreik’s 25-​year career began with the Four Seasons and Hyatt, followed by a specialization in managing independently owned and operated hotels, including El San Juan Hotel in Puerto Rico and the Ocean Grand Resort & Spa in Palm Beach, Fla.

In 1995 Zreik was recruited to Portland’s Heathman Hotel by Mary Arnstad where he served as general manager for three years. Following the Heathman, he joined Rosewood Hotels and Resorts at Little Dix Bay, Virgin Gorda, in the Caribbean. In 2001, he returned to Oregon to

open the Avalon Hotel & Spa in Portland. From there, he was drawn into the restaurant business, and back out again with the offer to open Cavallo Point in Sausalito. Now he is back home, and ready to open the Allison Inn.
