I was waiting for my flight to Miami and I saw this place, and I thought to myself. oh no way a Red Mango! I always love their smoothies so me and my friend decided to stop by. As we stood there looking at the smoothie selections, there was a woman working at the stand. She was taking out the fruits from the fridge, setting them up on display, and basically prepping the stand. Let me just say one thing, SHESAWUSSTANDINGTHERE. We stood there watching her for a solid 15 minutes. Looking back, I’m asking myself why on EARTH we stood there so long. At no point did this employee turn to us and say«Ill be with you in a minute» or, «Give me one second.» So finally, we began to fear of missing our flight so my friend simply asked«Excuse me, when do you think you will be ready?» Her response, without even looking up: «we are closed.» My friend then said«Oh okay, when do you open up?» Her response in an angry tone: «When you see the light turn on» …Okay…All she had to do was say from the start, «I am sorry we are closed.» There were actually people waiting behind us too, a line had formed. Honestly, if thats not rude, I dont know what is. Of course I was upset about not getting the best SMOOTHIE ever, but I was also just disgusted at the way this woman treated us. Granted, it is just a random stand in the Newark airport and I shouldnt have expected superb service, but still. a little respect should have been given. Needless to say i OBVIOUSLY will be back at other red mango locations but the next time I am at newark liberty, I can assure you I wont even look their way!

When you are flying and want a healthy snack on your flight, this is the place to grab a bag or two of cashews or mixed nuts. Service was friendly and fast, making eye contact. They also have other snacks so you cab grab a couple of things to have on your flight or in your hotel room.

My flight was delayed today so I visited this location twice in the same morning. First time to get a smoothie. Experience was fine. After long delay, I went back to get yogurt before getting on the plane. I asked for a small yogurt but in a larger cup. Told the woman that I was getting on the plane and I’m clumsy so didn’t want to spill. She told me I would be charged for the large. I thought she misunderstood, so I clarified that I simply wanted a small amount of yogurt but in a larger size cup so it wasn’t over flowing. She told me she would have to charge me the large size because of «the inventory». I was dumbfounded that she would refuse this request. My family used to own an ice cream franchise so I know the cost difference between a small cup and a large cup is negligible compared to losing a customer. I decided not to purchase any yogurt and will not be retiring to red mango at The Grove at EWR or in my town of Hoboken. But at least red mango saved $ on the cost difference between a large and small cup for my would-be small sized Yogurt.

They serve Red Mango yogurt ! I first got introduced to Red Mango yogurt in the bay area. It used to be my favorite yogurt because it’s very tart and flavorful. They used to have a stores in the bay area but they all closed down so I was happy to see that they serve Red Mango yogurt here. Too bad they only have a couple flavors. It’s still nice to have some yogurt before your flight though.

I wasn’t terribly hungry, but my upcoming flight was a few hours long with no snack service onboard, so I wanted to get something to keep me going. Also, after traveling for the past few weeks, I’ve had my fill of airport food, fast food and other unhealty fare. I saw The Grove Natural Snacks and decided to stop. Regardless of what you buy here — A smoothie, yogurt, fresh fruit cup, etc. it will set you back about $ 6, but some of their smoothies and fruit offerings are billed as meals, they do fill you up, are heatly and can weigh in at only about 300 calories or less. I had the spoonable mango banana smoothie which had I believe oats and sunflower seeds sprinkled on top, then the seeds were topped in a layer of bananna slices. The selection I got was quite tasty, but know that there is only 1 person working here and I had to wait in line for more than 10 minutes before being served and the airport wasn’t even busy. in addition to their smoothies and other similar items, they offer bulk candies, trail mix, nuts and other items you can buy by the pound. They also sell things like bagels, cookies, muffins, bagged snacks and cold water, juices and bottled drinks.

The service is jaded. The fruit looks lackluster and the smoothies aren’t as fresh and full of fruit as you’d hoped. But they carry coconut water, have some nuts for the road — and after a long grueling flight — The Grove does the trick. Trust.

Operation time: 6Am to 9PM You’ll find them in 15+ aiports in the USA. A little stand in the middle of the hallway sells more than you expected. At first, I thought they only have Frozen Treats such as yogurt, smoothies, and shakes. Later on, flight was delayed and I got lazy and nothing to do but getting more and more snacks. There’s a little menu caught my eyes – extremely cheap and healthy–«Organic coffee and tea» only costs you $ 1.49 for 12 oz and $ 1.79 for 16oz. Bagel(BAKED) is only $ 1.00 and adding cream cheese for $ 0.49. Amazing cheap in Newark airport, actually in everywhere. I also see some nuts and gummy bears and some other drinks… Guess what I ate there??? ~~ALLABOVE~~
