I like how this place exists among a buffet of greasy food and sugary snacks. This spot is an attempt to offer people something healthier then a bag of potato chips or a greasy burger, «you can get that from the other spots in this terminal.» I bought a bottle of water and a piece of fruit from here because my stomach was bothering me. They have alot of organic snacks and cereals along with some vegan stuff that I didn’t look at. A good choice for anyone watching something healthy for a change.

i guess if you are a veggie, or into that whole organic thing this place is great. for me, it is where i go when i need food and don’t have time to stop in the restaurant. pre-made, overpriced, soggy sandwiches, salads, and wraps dominate the shelves. they have chips, snacks, trail mix, and a variety of drinks. don’t forget napkins and condiments to the right of the register!

Any time you can find organic choices in an airport, it’s worth it to me! This place has organic Greek yogurt, organic snacks, organic cereals, organic chips, etc. Great to grab and go, especially when changing planes!

Located in one of the air-side concourses of Terminal A. Several choices of pre-assembled sandwiches and salads are available, as some cookies and cakes as well as yogurt parfaits marketed as natural or healthy. There are a few choices also for those who are allergic/intolerant to various food items. Clearly, security since 9⁄11 has not helped to improve the quality of food at airports and it’s certainly done nothing to help with value. My «sliced turkey and brie on foccacia» was a bit soggy(probably because of the lettuce) and the turkey looked like it had come right out of a cellophane wrapper at the supermarket. For $ 7.50, no bargain. And yet, it still felt like a better choice than the other offerings at the airport. If I have to travel through EWR at meal-time(and I won’t have a meal on the plane), then I’ll make a stop at the Grain Station. (If you’re curious to learn more about the heritage of the place, )
