Speedy Key Lock &Towing

No Stars! It’s a shame that this company came up at the top of a Google search list. I lost the only key to a Ford Explorer and needed to have one fashioned. Called at around 4:30 pm to get info and schedule someone to come out. The person taking the call said that it could be done that day and they would be out in 60 – 90 mins. After 2 hours of no show, I called to find out what the status was. I was told that he got ‘caught up’ on one of his calls and would be about another 45 mins to an hour. At 9:15 someone different called and said they would be out in 30 – 35 mins. Finally, with no one showing up at 10:00, I called twice with no response. 15 mins later the person I spoke with to set up the appointment was saying they had a problem in the computer, at which point I cancelled. With this degree of lack of service at that point, I could only imgagine how it extended through the entire business process.
The next morning, I called around a got a reference to another company located in Middletown (will not name as Unilocal will probably screen this as a plug for them) and was very pleased to have someone come out within a few hours (as stated) and do the job professionally– ready for Cash in hand plus tip.
