Brought my PC Tuesday morning just so they can install Windows on it, I even brought the windows software and the Solid State Drive is ready to go. It’s Friday afternoon and I still don’t have my PC. Point is… Don’t come here if you need your PC back right away, or even in four damn days.
Had to add one star since I forgot about my first visit to this place, I changed the computer case on my PC and it wouldn’t work, so I brought it here and the guy hooked up a few power cables I missed, all this was done within seconds.
Now if that was me, I’d tell you to come back and collect at least $ 15 since obviously I didn’t know much about computers.

Don’t go here if you don’t like getting robbed. The person who fixes computers is very unprofessional, no courtesy call on updates if any on repairs done. Gave my laptop away without even giving me a notice or even a call. Upon enquiring they told me I was a day over 30 days. I’m suing them for this. Their service is hopeless.

I took my PS3 here for repair. I was in a hurry and asked him to put a rush on it as I was willing to pay the extra fee. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to finish the repair in the timeline provided and took extra days. When I went to pick it up he still wanted me to pay the rush fee, even though he did the work in the standard timeline. Also, communication is a real problem here. He says one thing and ends up doing something else. For example, I’d ask him what time to come pick it up and his answer was always maybe around 4. I’d show up at 4 and it wasn’t done and I would have to come back tomorrow at 4. This happened twice. I was able to talk him into taking less than the rush fee but it still wasn’t the standard repair fee. Also, he overclocked the fan so that it ran at full speed all the time. This made the PS3 so loud you couldn’t hear the TV in my house. I called to tell him I wanted him to undo whatever it was he did. He never called me back, and i ended up fixing it myself.
This guy also works out of the back corner of a cell phone shop in the not so nice part of town. Not that that’s a big deal but it certainly didn’t help in the confidence area. He also has a cute little dog who runs around the shop floor and is very sweet. Sadly, this poor dog looks like she has never been to the groomer nor had a bath in the last year or so. This pushed it over the edge for me. TAKE CARE OF YOUR DOG MAN!
Long story short. I dont think I will be back, ever.

Honest! friendly! fast! professional! They got my computer up and running and back in business in record time. These is my new go-​to for all my computer needs.

Had a screen replaced for i4. Job was flawless and reasonable. Was ready for pickup that same day, even though could not until next day. Thanks.

I had a horrible virus and Alan explained everything so I could understand the services provided, quick turn around drooped it off Friday got it back Monday which he quoted. My laptop is super fast now! Also any problems just give them a call. Really nice guy and the price was economically friendly.

I had a computer issue that I needed help with stat, I went in yesterday morning and spoke with Alan, he said give me an hour. I came back an hour later and issue with computer was fixed and at a fair price. This company deserves more stars. Great customer service, friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you Alan!

I just bought the living social deal for iPhone screen repair after epically shattering the glass. These guys were awesome! The screen has never looked better and they were fast and polite. The next time I break my screen (because it’s bound to happen), I’m definitely coming back.

They saved my day! I was overwhelmed with prep work that I absolutely had to get done over the weekend so that my project team could proceed Monday morning. I’d been using my laptop on battery power. When I needed to use my AC adapter, I couldn’t plug it into the laptop. The piece inside the socket was broken or bent or something. This happened Friday evening. So, Saturday I was on a quest to find a shop that was open, where there was a technician in the shop, that had parts on site, and that would turn it around quickly. Believe me, that was not easy! I’d called and/​or gone by places in San Jose, Fremont and Redwood City. I found Site X on Unilocal.I almost missed them since they are located inside a car audio store.
Anyway, I explained how desperate I was to have my laptop fixed. The technician, Alan explained that he was the only one there & he didn’t know how busy they’d be, but he was sympathetic, and told me he’d do what he could. I left the laptop with him. He was able to get it fixed by the end of the day, and charged me a very reasonable «rush» rate. I was very happy to be able to finish the tasks for my project and I did not hold up the team’s progress at work Monday morning.

Very satisfied my lap top power jack is repaired. Dropped it off on Thursday and received a call on Monday that it’s ready. Price was really reasonable compared to Best Buy who wanted to charge me an arm and a leg. Adan was super sweet and was knowledgeable.

I like these guys. They know what they are doing. Gave me free advice on what I could do to fix my laptop myself as opposed to selling me expensive services. They have my trust!

I only found this place through Unilocal who has 4 – 5 stars rating in their service. I brought in my iPhone 4 with a damaged LCD screen. The tech was very confident and promised to fix it in 2hrs. My iPhone was fixed as promised and all my data were retained. The price was reasonable as I already visited a couple of place. Excellent job! We need more honest and reasonable electronic guru shop like yours around.

I had great experienced with EFX computer. I compared with HP and EFX hands down EFX wins. HP was charging $ 385.00 verse EFX charge 100.00 plus. And they did such a job. I refer to all my friends too. And theta definitely agree with me. Keep up the good work.

I lagged at reviewing this place. I went in a few months ago to have my external drive checked out since it stopped working when it fell. Was expecting to spend a lot to have the data recovered, but after a few minutes in the back the technician said all that was required was a new enclosure connector that can be purchsed at frys. It worked! I really appreciated the honesty at this establishment. Will definitely recommend them.

Don’t let the look of this place fool you… its located inside a car audio store. So the PC repair shop is a room inside an actual store. But these guys know what they are doing and seem to be legit.
I just had one of the drives in my PC installed by these guys and they did a good job. OK here’s the story… I called them after i found the # on Unilocal and went in for a free estimate/​consultation. Then they replaced the drive but it didn’t work… so he tried installing a different brand of drive in my PC and viola! It worked!
My out the door cost for the CD drive, Master cable, and labor was $ 50.00. Pay them cash and these guys take care of the tax. Nice. The technician also showed my exactly what was put in my PC and the details of the procedure among other technical aspects of the job.
Really helpful and polite and personable service.
