Jamba Juice

If you’re a patient person then this Jamba Juice outlet might work for you. Took 20 minutes to get my order of great greens juice, not feeling so great about it.

As much as people can complain about Jamba Juice or this place in particular, Jamba is still alive and thriving even with the competitive «healthy drinks» market.
I came to this particular location on a super hot day, and lo and behold… line was hella long! Fear not though, they are fully staffed (I saw at least 5 people running around) and they are pretty quick and efficient.
Their menu is a bit smaller than most I’ve seen, but hey– they have a disclaimer that says: «Don’t see your favorite drink? No worries, we can still make it for you!»
I tried their Acai smoothie and I must say, it was on point. Their orange juice is also delicious and while the fit’n something-​mango drink was a bit grainy from the boosters I added, but it was still pleasant to drink.

Good and fast service. Nice place to stop by in the mall. I ordered the Peach Paradise, my dad ordered the orange juice.

This Jamba Juice is consistently awful. Their smoothies always taste super watery and the service is terrible. I came here with my sister, her friend and my daughter on March 15, 2016 around 5pm-​6pm. We ordered our drinks from a girl, who now I know to be the manager, and she was incredibly stand-​offish. Maybe just an off day for her, but still, you’re at work, so pull it together and put a smile on your face for God’s sake.
Our drinks came out, but took some time, even though there was barely anyone else waiting on a drink. My smoothie tasted really watery and strangely, like other fruits that didn’t belong in it. I order this particular smoothie all the time, so I know this isn’t how it’s supposed to taste. It honestly tasted like they didn’t clean the blender well enough before starting on my drink. I brought that to the attention of the guy who made my drink, I believe his name was Gavin.
He was nice about it, I apologized, he said it was all good and that he’d make me another one. Meanwhile, the manager is standing there giving me a dirty look. Uh, I’m sorry, but you’re the ones who messed up the drink that I just paid over $ 6 for, so what are you glaring at?! So rude. She ended up remaking it and to be real, it still tasted off, but I took it and left to finish shopping.
The first store we went into, I spilled my smoothie everywhere. I was juggling my daughter, not to mention the fact that I’m almost 6 months pregnant, so of course my balance was a little off. I took a photo of it and went back to Jamba Juice to see if they’d make me another one. I explained what happened and the girl at the register said, «let me go ask my boss if I can do that.» Uh, okay?
The same boss with the same shitty attitude came back out and said super sarcastically, «yeah, since we already remade yours once, we can’t do it again.» I’m sorry, what?! You remade it, because you screwed it up in the first place! Plus, you have a policy in place that you HAVE to remake any smoothie for an unsatisfied customer. Seriously, I’m pregnant, juggling a fussy baby in my arms and accidentally dropped my smoothie that I paid over $ 6 for… you’re really not going to make me another one?
I honestly couldn’t believe it. She acted like my new smoothie would be coming out of her paycheck. Customer service is quite literally about servicing the customer, not trying to act high and mighty, because you’re the manager at a Jamba Juice. Your «manager skills» are laughable. I definitely won’t be back and I’m so irritated, that I’ll also be reporting this incident to corporate.

I like the juices here, however often they have gotten our orders wrong, and service can be very slow at times, compared to other Jamba Juices I’ve visited.

I wish these smoothies weren’t so watery. EVERY TIME I come to this Jamba Juice, my smoothies are basically juices.

Service was ok. It was like any other chain-​style service. I didn’t expect much. I ordered the new chili mango smoothie and I guess maybe I am just not into the flavors of spicy and sweet mixing in a drink because I was not fond of this smoothie. Also to make it worse, my cup wasn’t filled up very much. I probably wouldn’t come to this Jamba Juice again.

This Jamba Juice deserves negative stars! The worst service ever. I stopped by yesterday for a freshly squeezed orange juice. As I’m standing there in line I see Sammie the girl making the drinks struggling with the oranges and the juice machine. So before I ordered, I asked it the machine was working properly and if they had oranges. The guy at the front didn’t even acknowledge what I said and took my order. I asked to add boosts to my drink and he had this confused look on his face. I also ordered a pretzel and asked if he could warm it up. Instead of getting my pretzel he totally forgot about it and went to the back to chit chat with his coworker. After waiting about 10 minutes for my drink they call me up. It didn’t look right at all. There were brown clumps at the top. She claimed that it was normal and that its because I added a boost. I’m sorry I’m not going to believe that. I’ve been to other Jamba Juices and when you order a freshly squeezed juice and add boosts to it, they mix it in a blender so that it doesn’t clump up and look disgusting. At the end when I asked for a refund the guy (I didn’t catch his name) threw my change at me. Rude. Unprofessional. Disrespectful.

Got to Jamba Juice at 8pm and was greeted by a really rude blonde worker. I ordered my drink and my cup was only filled ¾ of the way up. What?! I’ve never seen this. If anything, their blenders always have extra leftover. Luckily my drink was still pretty tasty, but cmon. I didn’t even wanna bother complaining cuz I just wanted to get outta there.

They have very bad service and sometimes get your orders wrong. When I got my order the entire smoothie was bland. When I gave it to one of the employees they said it was fine.

I’d give this JJ a negative star if possible!
I came here an hour before closing on Sunday. My friend and I had groupons for juice. When we tried to present them for redemption, the girl at the register claimed that their juicer was closed down. Say what?! We asked if we could get other drinks and pay the difference. She told us that the groupons were only for juices. That’s understandable. We didn’t get there a MINUTE before closing, though. We were there an HOUR before. How can you close down the juicer an hour early?!?
When we passed by later, she was on the OTHER side of the counter, clearly having finished her shift. She was probably just in a hurry to leave! Such horrible customer service.
We went to the JJ on Mowry instead. They were soooo much nicer and very professional. And friendly! When we told the lady there about what happened at the mall location, she said that it didn’t make sense. She also said the juice I’d wanted didn’t even need a juicer!

Typical Jamba Juice. they just move a little too slow for my liking. But whatever.

I love Jamba Juice. For some reason the carribean passion drink I got today wasn’t very good. It was watered down with very little flavor.
I asked my wife if she liked her drink and she said hers was just ok just not a lot of flavor.
This location needs to step up and make their drinks more flavorful.

Yummmmm sugar. Jamba always tastes great. I tried the seasonal pumpkin smoothie and it was goooood. Except i didn’t know that it had dairy in it and because I’m lactose… well lets just say my stomach wasn’t feeling too happy afterwards.

This Jamba juice had the longest line compared to the joints at the nearby food court. Definitely a better option than the food court at Newpark Mall.

I love love LOVE my chocolate covered strawberries. Guy at the counter was super cute and knew just what drink I was talk about! I left there with a smile on my face for two reasons!

I don’t like to review chains normally, just because they have the same products at every location. However, I had to do a review of the Newpark Mall location because the service I received was just fantastic!
After a few hours of shopping, I was feeling pretty wiped. I had gotten an email from Jamba Juice a few days earlier which had a coupon for a 16 oz smoothie for $ 2 (for my birthday: D). I had seen Jamba Juice when I had walked to Macys, and I decided that my favorite smoothie was just the thing to pick me up again.
My only concern was the coupon. It didn’t specifically say that I couldn’t use the e-​format, but a lot of places make you print it out. I stopped by any way and asked the guy if he would honor my coupon. Without any hesitation he said «of course we will» and «happy birthday!». It was not a huge deal – its $ 2 for something that probably only costs them 50 cents to make… but its a huge deal to me, who got to feel special for a few minutes :)
As I walked away, sipping my 16 oz Caribbean Passion, I definitely had a smile on my face.

It’s not a visit to Cali without a trip to Jamba. Staff were friendly and efficient, and the book of nutrition info was available on the counter. Got my usual Orange Dream Machine, guilt and all, and retired to the tiny metal patio furniture outside to people-​watch the mall crowds.

Quick service, friendly staff, and great smoothies.
I’ll return if I am at the mall.

My fave is Banana Berry Smoothie from any Jamba Juice locations. I also like Matcha Green Tea Smoothie. Yum :)
