This Quickly is now CLOSED. It is under new ownership and has a new name. It is now called«Boba Queen», and can be found here: Read my updated review there.

This quickly has been around for a long time, its a, small tiny store all the way at the end of a strip mall. People really need to lighten up a bit on the reviews of this small family owned business who managed to stick around for quite a while. The wait was not bad at all most of the times i visited, although it does get crowded on the weekends, but the outdoor seating definitely helped!

I tried the avocado snow today, it’s pretty good, especially with some boba. I’ve been here several times, and can’t deny that they were really slow sometimes, but I think they changed a lot, and become faster and faster than before. Hope they will be better.

I was never a fan of Quickly’s to begin with. Their drinks are way too sweet and service is incredibly slow. Oh, the irony of their store name? I remember my friend and I came in and there was no one there except us. There was only one worker but it took over 15 minutes our drinks to come out. UNACCEPTABLE. Not worth my wait and I am definitely never coming back. There is a Tea Six a few stores down, just go there instead.

I’ve been to this place quite a few time(don’t think it’s part of the Quickly chain anymore) and haven’t had a bad experience yet. My drinks were made relatively quickly — longest was about 5 mins and flavors were spot-on. The food were cooked pretty well(I appreciate thoroughly cooked food thank you!) and service was friendly. The one star off is the overall décor is a bit tired so it could be redone a bit.

Quickly sure is slow(not just at this location but at most of their locations that I’ve visited), even though they didn’t have many customers(1 person placed an order before me). The menu is staggering in size with hundreds of drinks of the menu. Plus you can get egg puffs, sandwiches, rice bowls, shaved ice, popcorn chicken, etc. The snacks are mostly fried. You can watch Chinese TV or read various Chinese magazines. * Tuna sandwich($ 4.99): Yes, it took ages to get a simple tuna sandwich. It took so long that I thought she had problems finding the can of tuna. The sandwich was a double decker with thin white toast, lettuce, tomato and a plain(tuna & mayo only) mushy tuna salad. I could have made a better sandwich, faster, at home. * Barley milk tea($ 2.75): I thought this would be barley tea with milk. They added bits of barley so it was rather unpleasant and grainy in texture. Though they had signs and posters up for fro-yo, they didn’t have any fro-yo. I saw the frozen yogurt machine in there before but it’s no longer there. Cash only.

the litchi snow with small tapioca balls was delicious. tasty and icy with a good price… BUT it took such a long time to get it. i know they were short staffed(one girl making all the drinks and there was a good number of people 5?). i think they should have had another person helping. one drink…20 minutes… you decide

This is a tiny store at the corner of a strip mall. This falls in the middle of the spectrum of HK cafes that I have been to. The egg puffs were pretty good though the caramel sauce was a little off. They have over 350 items which is cool between the choices of snacks and drinks. Parking is always a hassle at this location.

Someone on Unilocal wrote this Quickly branch should be renamed to Slowly. Soo Spot on. Although this review is an incomplete, I waited about 10 minutes for a simple bubble milk tea because there was only one person manning the fort. Very short staffed and unacceptable. Requested a refund. It would be great if the employee could wash her hands from time to time.

The store is small and even quiet most of the time. The only reason why I come here is because it’s close to where I live, and the«Fried Combination»(which is decent) is what I order most of the time from there. I haven’t seen the option in other Quickly’s as of yet. By going here many times, I’ve filled up quite a few of their stamp cards, which is nice. The service overall is kinda slow though. There seem to be different ‘trainee’-like staffs at the cashier every time I visit… Their poster signs don’t update at all even when they’re washed out from the sun, so it’s probably not too inviting for new customers. It’s lucky to have such a good location though(aka next to a 99 Ranch Market).

This place seriously is going to take me straight to hyperglycemia land. Large size tapioca drink for the price of a regular size in all its high fructose corn syrupy sweetness? Why the hell not. I always find myself going to this dirty little milk tea spot when I’m in Fremont. If it weren’t so cheap, and if it weren’t for the fact that I haven’t(yet) gotten sick from this place, I’d probably stop coming here. CAUTIONWETFLOOR: One day I almost fell because the store clerk, trying to get ready to close up shop at 9pm just freshly mopped the dirty floor with dirty gray water. Easily slipped but avoided a fall/filing suit. Also I wouldn’t recommend the crispy chicken from here. I haven’t had it but I just don’t have a good vibe buying food from here.

This store is dirty and run down. I would recommend the other Quickly locations around the Bay area instead. While they are all the same(in regards to the menu), this one is staffed by a rude staff that is usually on their cell phones more often than not. I know it’s just boba, but a smile goes a long way.

No one at register when I walked in. Ordered the coffee milk tea and fried calamari rings. Total wait time too about 10 minutes. Calamari rings were a huge disappointment. ONLYHALF of it had calamari rings and the rest were sweet potato fries which I didn’t even order! You would think that you would get what you order. On another note, the rings were damp and soggy as if they had been sitting out too long. Word of advice… if you do get their chicken or calamari, make sure you get a whole portion and not half. The coffee milk tea was good once everything was mixed together evenly. This drink was not too sweet, both the tea and coffee taste were evident. I would definitely go back for the drink Oh yeah, don’t forget to ask for a stamp card.

With Mr. Face living down the street, I’ve finally come to try this place out the other day. I ordered the popcorn chicken and a regular sized mango slush… I opted out on the pearls after reading in various reviews about their texture… If i read all the Unilocal reviews, why come here? Well, sometimes you want the popcorn chicken, but don’t want to go through the effort of driving an extra couple of miles. for $ 4.50, they give you a generous amount. I do wish, however, that the bag was somewhat bigger or the food be given in a box where you can sprinkle the chili and salt+pepper powders and shake them around more evenly. Anyway, just one person in the front, one in the back. Luckily service didn’t suck that bad, and the chicken came out really quick. The drink, however, took a bit of a wait because the cashier was multi tasking. The mango slush tasted good… until you eat some chicken. I don’t understand how it works…

Quickly? Not so much. Saturday afternoon, tons of people waiting in line. Only one person working the register and fixing drinks, and one person working the kitchen. Guy had no idea what i was trying to order and I kept gesturing to the menu. I wanted the barley/wheat germ milk tea– what a rip off. barely a teaspoon full. Also ordered the durian snow bubble made with fresh durian chunks. It smelled very durian-y, but definitely no fresh chunks. Bypass this and get a drink from that nearby tea place

I went here yesterday with 2 of my friends for the first time. We printed out a coupon from facebook for buy one get one free until the end of September. The coupon makes going here worthwhile. You can get a large drink for $ 2 – 3! I got an avocado green tea snow with boba. It was pretty good, but it was super sweet. The popcorn chicken was alright… Quickly: Quantity over Quality Tapioca Express: Quality over Quantity Best part though? You can keep printing coupons and use them until September 20, 2012, so you know I’m going back!

Uhm, so I’m not a big fan of Quickly’s in general. Out of all the Quickly’s I’ve been to… this is probably the only one I can stand all the other Quickly’s deserve a .5 star and should close down. Reasons for the low ratings — high prices for low quality snacks/drinks their popcorn chicken taste like dried up powder… gross much? sometimes, their boba is HARD it’s not even soft or chewy… it’s like… powdered shit. — crappy service — how busy they seem shows the quality of their service/drinks, whenever I go to a Quickly’s there was no one else around. It’s usually empty… yeah… The only reason why I go to this place is because it’s cheaper and their drinks don’t suck butt as much as the other Quickly’s.

I wish I can give this place NOSTARS! Given the fact that there was only 2 employees I still can’t believe how slow Quickly was(they really should change their name btw)!!! Their drinks weren’t even worth the wait time! The woman helping us at the register, was making the drinks, preparing the food and handling the money, ALLWHILEKEEPINGHERLOOSEFITTINGLATEXGLOVESON! WTF!!! UN-FREAKING-SANITARY!!! Not coming here again. That’s all.

Good: consistent taste, distinct taste, good specials, free size upgrades, free tapioca when you check into facebook. Fast service, never too crowded like tapioca express in union city. Bad: it’s a hit or miss with their tea. There are a few times where I get stomach aches afterwards. Their tofu dessert is not the greatest, I highly suggest people stay away from it. It’s tasteless.

Meh. this Quickly’s felt kinda dirty, but I have to say the prices are dirt cheap and they currently serve you the drinks in the large size, for free(their current Spring/Summer promotion I guess to attract more people). All the milk teas are like $ 2.50 only + tax…
