Feel Projection Dance Company

Feel Good Projection is beyond amazing! For our wedding, we wanted to take dance lessons for our first dance. We weren’t sure exactly what we wanted, but we had picked out a song and showed them a vision of what we were kind of feeling.
Duncan stepped outside of his comfort zone and choreographed a special number for us. In addition to choreographing, Duncan also edited the music for us. Duncan and Kristy partnered up to teach my husband and I a routine! Initially, we were only supposed to have 4 lessons over the course of a couple months. Being professionals and working, we hardly had any time to practice on our own in between our meetings. Every single time we came in, we felt bad that we were having to learn it over again every single time. Luckily, they were both very patient with us! They even allowed us to record them on my iPad so that we can watch the video over and over as reference when we do get the chance to practice. The week before our wedding, we came in one more time because we were not quite ready, and we needed to make sure we hit the right moves so that we look good. My husband and I were a bit worried for ourselves, but before our last practice, we practiced a little so we could be a little decent in front of Duncan and Kristy!
A couple of days before our wedding, we practiced again when we had some time. We just repeated the dance and watched the iPad over and over again! That last practice with them truly helped because it allowed us to focus on the moves that we should be hitting to get the right timing. Come the wedding day, we surprised the entire crowd! They had no idea we had been taking lessons. Immediately after entering the reception, we did our first dance. That really set the tone for our party! It was amazing! We killed it!

Feel Good Projection is a great place! The energy and vibe are positive. The people are all friendly. The teachers are friendly and patient. They are super talented! Thanks to them, we were able to do an amazing dance! They made us look like rockstars! Thank you Duncan and Kristy! We hope that more couples will come to you guys for wedding first dances. You both did an amazing job! Everything turned out perfect.
We had so much fun with you guys! We hope to continue dancing and taking classes after the wedding. We were thinking of coming back there, but we weren’t sure if we could keep up with you young folks! Hahahahahahah — it would definitely be an awesome work out though!

Great place and I truly recommend this establishment for anyone or any free spirit looking for a feel good place to let emotions go and step your dance to another level. Justin had a vision on this place and has surpassed that by a great deal! Growing staff, growing clientele, and awesome vibe in and out! Caters to all sorts of dance and if I can give more than 5 stars I would, what an awesome genuine place to «feel project» your love for dance! Thanks Justin for creating a place of great feeling.

This is the place that really started me off as a dancer! Truly blessed to be able to come here and learn so much and be surround by such genuine people! Highly recommended if you are interested in learning about dance!

I’ve been on the Feel Projection Dance Company adult team for a little less than a year now and I am so glad I decided to commit my time to them! It has expanded my skill and knowledge of dance tremendously when I had thought my dancing days were over after graduating high school. Our executive director, Duncan Padilla, is a young leader who puts in 110% every day and wants nothing but the best for the two main teams of the studio in which he directs: Feel Projection Adults and Feel Projection Rascals (the youth under 18 team). He is a genuinely good person who will do anything he can to help his dancers at their lowest and highest points.
I live about 30 minutes away and never regret the drive to Newark for our bi-​weekly practices (sometimes more to prepare for upcoming events). Everyone is supportive of each other whether you are coming in as a beginning or advanced hip hop dancer, as long as you are willing to put the time in and give your full effort to the team and directors/​choreographers!
I came in with little to no background in the urban style but found the motto «sink or swim» to be what I had felt in the challenging times of starting out. This team works hard! Of course it would have been easier to give up, or «sink», but looking back, I’ve never felt so rewarded for something in my entire life compared to the point I’ve arrived at as a dancer thanks to this company and everyone a part of it.
The FP family is open and welcoming, and if you’re looking for a team where you will be challenged and worked with guaranteed results of improvement physically and mentally, then this is the place you’re looking for!

The people here are amazing! Justin knows his stuff and is a great dancer and choreographer! Everyone should check out their monthly workshops!!!

Been coming here for a year now and it’s my home dance studio for me. The people are down to earth and that’s all I can really say. As a bboy, I love the environment. Not so intimidating and everyone is so helpful around you. If you want open session, come on tues, wed and thurs nights 9 till midnight for 2 bucks. It’s that cheap! You’re not paying for the studio, you’re paying for new moves!

Feel Projection Dance Company is a great place for anyone who simply loves to dance. Whether you are just starting out or you’re a pro, there’s definitely space for you to continue to grow here!
Tues Weds & Thurs there is Open Session for anyone from 930−12am! It’s a great space with a good sound system and awesome vibes and it’ll only cost you a 2 $ donation.
The two directors and managers of the company, Justin Escoto and Duncan Padilla are super friendly and willing to talk to you about anything you may have questions or concerns about!
There are bboy/​bgirl classes for the young ones if you have children interested in dance! However, if you are older, there are two dance teams, FP Rascals & Feel Projection Adults that are most of the time willing to let anyone try out a class and see how they like it! Both teams are new, but are slowly starting to gain more notice in the dance community with their amazing, young and talented directors.

I would highly recommend just stopping by to check out the studio and what goes on there. The atmosphere is awesome and the people are all super friendly and welcoming. Anyone who loves to dance or has an interest in dancing is welcome at Feel Projection.

Great, clean space. Good ambiance. Good sound system. Extremely friendly and inviting staff. Super friendly dancers.
Open sessions only require a two dollar donation. T, W, Th, 9:30 P.M. to Midnight.
Haven’t tried their dance classes /​other services, but I am inclined to say «each one, teach one» is pervasive here. A growing company with lots to offer! It’s my go to session spot in the Fremont area.

Open Sessions (for b-​boys, poppers, lockers, anybody who wants to dance) are now donation based, every T/​W/​TH from 9:30 until Midnight ish. As a dancer who grew up around the area, it was extremely difficult to find practice spots, much less [free] ones.
I recently watched them perform at this year’s All The Way Live Urban Dance Festival, and they came out with the Crowd Choice award! I was impressed, especially since this company is relatively new and just getting off the ground.
If you’re somebody new to dance, or shy, or just looking to join a good company to dance with, then Feel Projection is a good place to look into.

Very friendly staff. The owner of the organization is very committed to helping you find what suits your style. I attended a few dance battle competitions, and the crowd is very entertaining and fun to be a part of.
