History

Established in 1981.

I’m proud to be a Fourth Generation Locksmith. I learned from my Father who learned from my Mother’s Father who learned from his Uncle starting in 1916. I worked for most of the major locksmith companies here before starting my own business based on the philosophy of offering great service at a reasonable price. I don’t advertise much because I’d have to pass those advertising costs on to my customers. Working for the larger companies allowed me to be exposed to a much wider variety of locks, keys and associated problems quickly. I stay on top of new trends and products through healthy relationships with suppliers, trade organizations and fellow locksmiths. I practice the philosophy of Co-​opetition with my fellow locksmiths.

As a lifelong Fourth Generation Locksmith, I am so very grateful for this wonderful trade that allows me to help people, work with my hands and my brain, and get my bills paid. I view my work as an avocation, I love what I do which allows me to happily go to work almost every day. I’ve done some teaching in the past and am always willing to help educate the public or my fellow Locksmiths. I’m still actively adding knowledge and experiences and get better, faster and more efficient every day.
