Baskin Robbins

The service here is not good at all! We decided to go in for ice cream and no one was in just 1 lady paying. So we started to call an older Asian lady she was «decorating» a cake with «no cake in front of her» the cake was on top of the ice cream while she was getting other decorations, and she just ignored us completely not once did she turn and say anything. But when my 4 year old went to look at the cakes she ran to the fridge and told my kid not to touch anything I was about to take off but my kids had already started ordering that Asian older lady is so rude!!! Will be going to Fremont from now on, this location does even have chocolate dipped waffle cones and on top of that bad service no thanks! This is a great location but bad service!

Well its baskin robbins, which is already awesome by itself. My wife and I shared a medium shake and a banana split, which in retrospect is a little too much for a weekday night, but it’s ice cream so no regrets. The owner is also really nice and offered us free samples, which was great but we stuck to our old favoriate mint chocolate chip.

Went back to the Baskin 31 Robbins at the Newark Market Place Shopping Center today to get a milkshake. I had a $ 1 off coupon, so why not, right? After all it is #NationalIceCream Month.
Walked in and was greeted right away. There were at least 3 workers around the counter, including the Asian Women people mention on here. She’s probably the owner of this place and was very friendly this visit.
My cashier was a young gentlemen who was very nice and courteous. As he was asking me what I wanted, a UPS Truck Driver interupted us but the young gentlemen was very courteous and apologized for the interuption. He kept apologizing for the interruption and then started addressing the UPS guy.
After he finished with the UPS guy, he continued finishing up with me. I got to sample the Oreo ‘N Cake Flavored Ice Cream, which happened to be the flavor of the month. I sampled it and it tasted okay so I got that.
I got an Oreo ‘N Cake Medium Sized Milkshake. Even though I had a coupon for a $ 1 off, it was still pretty pricey, but I suppose that’s Baskin Robbins for yeah eh? It was $ 6.99 and with the $ 1 off, it came to $ 5.99.
It was pricey, but oh well…
The customer service at this location is fabulous, the worker I had was really friendly and said thank you for my purchase and for my visit as well. Service here at this location is excellent. There is also plenty of seating, asd this is a fairly good sized location that has been serving the Newark community for quite some time ever since the opening of the Newark Market Place.

My husband and I came here on Saturday (June 13^th) for our first time at this location with our kids. We were waiting in line to be helped with for quite some time, when another customer jumped in front of us! And instead of correcting her and telling her that we were next, the older Asian woman (I’m not sure what her name is) helped the customer that cut us and took her order without even regarding us or looking to see if there was anyone in line before her. My husband and I kind of looked at each other annoyed, but didn’t say anything, hoping that the customer in front of us would be quick, since it seemed to be just her.
Luckily, the young man (His name starts with a G or J, forgive me for forgetting) caught what happened and ran to our rescue! He apologized to us for having us wait so long and gave my husband and I free ice cream, so that we only had to pay for the price of our kid’s ice cream. He then proceeded to hand us a coupon for the next time that we came in. Thank you again for the free ice cream, but most importantly your great customer service and kindness. Keep up the great work!

This location is great because of the location for one and then they always have ALL the flavors especially mint chip! I know some Baskin Robins don’t have all the flavors, but the main reason why I like this one is they always have a good variety to choose from. Plus there are several other shops in the shopping center which is great!

Fast, friendly and clean. Sometimes it is crazy packed, but today was slow so I zipped right in and right out with a scoop of Sharknado.

I’ve gotten my daughters birthday cake here every year since 2000. We were celebrating her 21 st birthday and she is a huge Star Wars fan so we ordered the Star Wars cake. When my husband went to pick it up and he sent me a picture of how it looked I couldn’t believe my eyes. The writing was horrible ! It looked nothing like what they advertise. The excuse I got when I went back was we were sorry and here is 8.00 gift card for the decorations. I got the excuse that we have a new cake decorator. I suggest they start looking for a cake decorator ASAP. I honestly will never go to them again for anything. Very very disappointed !! They should have given me my money back full ! I went here with my friend to get milkshakes. We were immediately asked if we wanted to sample any of their flavors. I told the guy we needed a minute and he kept pushing us to try anything. We decided what we wanted and he had to ask multiple times which flavors we had asked for and what size. We got three medium shakes, each a single flavor. A different girl made one for us, came out super thick and perfect. The guy took twice as long, even though he started on them first. He handed me the first of the shakes he made and it was the consistency of milk. My friend and I asked him to remake them, showed him the other shake we had and how thick it was. He did remake them but it came out the same almost watery consistency. At that point someone else stepped in, remade our shakes and we finally got what we wanted. $ 20 for three shakes and time we’ll never get back. I’ll go somewhere else for a shake next time.

New owners are rude to their customers in line. It was older Asian woman who was raising her voice at kids and people leaving the line to look at flavors!!! Really lady! And the AC was not working, I come to get Ice cream to relax and cool off. Ice cream was good, but I won’t be back here!

Teenagers are lazy and they have lots of tricks up their sleeve (like not giving you the balance and closing the cash register while one guy distracts you, not wanting to thaw out ice cream to make a shake because it takes 15 min even when the customer is willing to wait etc …)

I LOVE this BR location. Service was great, the place was clean. The owner helped me get through an ice cream cake purchase for a last minute party. She even offered to pull cakes from the freezer in the back (based on what I was looking for and what she knew was back there). I was so stressed out because I had a million other things that I needed to do in such a short amount of time. She could sense this and offered me a free scoop of my choice after my $ 50+ cake purchase. I knew that I absolutely needed to leave a review for them after this experience. Definitely will be going to this location for all my ice cream cake purchases. Thank you!

Service is a hit and miss. Today was a hit. Got the little one half a kids scoop, since she won’t be able to finish a while I’ve on her own. We usually get flak from the people working here. It was no questions asked today. Gotta try the baseball nut ice cream.

This place is always a great place to stop and get a scoop of your favorite ice cream! Great service too!

Yes, the ice cream here is relatively expensive, because for the same price as a single scoop you can buy a tub of Dreyer’s at Safeway next door. But Safeway does not have daiquiri ice! Decades and countless scoops later, I am still a total sucker for this flavor. My daughter refers to daiquiri ice as «toothpaste» flavor, but I don’t care.

I love this Baskin Robbins. Super nice people who own and run this place. I hope they make the Love Potion flavor (Raspberry dark choc with white choc pieces) a regular. Yummy!

I always get mint chocolate chip. My date got strawberry cheesecake. I tried some, and though it’s sweeter than I would like, it was still quite good. The pieces of cheesecake in the ice cream were yummy.
It’s a very clean Baskin Robbins location. Probably the cleanest I’ve been to.

Not too bad with the Unilocal coupon. I think the prieces are a little on the pricier side of BR, but ehhh. I went here with my gf and got 2– two scoop ice cream cups for 8 dollars with the Unilocal deal. I can’t really do my normal 3−1−1 deal because BR’s ice cream seems pretty consistent. So the only thinks are value and service.
I don’t know if she really knew, but the manager in charge seemed to be TOO helpful. Hahhahaha. I think she was training someone too. My GF and I joked about us probably coming into BR than the trainee… Anyways, the scoops were fine, but not extra big either. Pretty good, especially with the Unilocal coupon.

I chose the Daiquiri Ice and my bf chose the Mango Tango flavor.
I think their freezer was fucked up because when the worker was scooping up the ice cream, he scooped it up very easy then struggling with it. Usually, the workers struggle to get a scoop from the ice cream tub.
After we received our free ice cream scoops, we sat down and chow it down.
There were 2 workers working that night and they were bullshitting on their cell phones.
Overall, it was okay, but not that good. =(
