These tacos were made fast and tasted good. The prices are stupid cheap but don’t let the freshness fool you. The beef chili taco, chicken and steak tacos were all good in their own way. They give you an individual container of salsa per taco, every taco has lettuce, cheese, tomatoes and the protein you purchased. Definitely a good fast snack.

Should be called Bland Taco. I had a veggie fajita that was the most tasteless thing I’ve ever consumed.

Don’t listen to the other reviewers, this place has great tacos, salads, burritos, and vegetarian options, which I am one… the price is amazing, everything is super-fresh. Yea, admittedly, it isn’t a place to come to bring a date as far as ambience… but as a take-out restaurant, you can’t go wrong and for me is leaps and bounds above other Park Slope-area tex-Mex restaurants.

This place is one of my favorites. The quality is top notch and it’s always fresh(made to order). Their meat(chicken, shrimp, steak) is seasoned well and has robust flavors. This is a great place especially for what it costs. You can have a fresh and flavorful meal for less than $ 10!

The food was alright. But the service was terrible. I asked specifically for my burrito a certain way and the lady behind the counter was rude, laughed in front of me about it and didn’t follow my request. They’re also really cheap about their napkins. Oh and ps you won’t see any signs that say«cash only» we only found out after we ordered.

I’m so happy that they are around the corner from my house now. I order from there so much that I don’t even have to complete my address because they know who’s calling. The store is always clean and when delivered the food comes pretty fast. I love that they close pretty late. They are authentic Mexican food but it is pretty good.

This place is just ok. Inexpensive and looks like it. You can get the basics — burritos, tacos, etc. — done in very basic fashion. I’ve had a couple different burritos and they’ve been fine but totally unexceptional. There are better options nearby.

Love this quick option. Chicken is favorable, love the fajitas. Can’t complain for a quick food option and its not ‘fast food’

Definitely come if you’re hungry and want a good portion of food for what you pay. Do NOT come if you’re looking for authentic Mexican food. This place is very clearly a Chinese restaurant trying to pass off as Mexican food. Everyone who works there, including the people making your food, are Chinese. I ordered the mixed vegetable burrito and a bottle of root beer for a total of $ 8. And the burrito is pretty big! What I wasn’t expecting was to find Chinese stir fry vegetables stuffed in a tortilla with beans, rice, guacamole, salsa, and grocery store bought shredded cheddar cheese that hasn’t even been melted… Not that it tastes bad, but it wasn’t really what I was looking for. Anyway, the food tastes pretty good and pretty big portions for what you pay – it’s just not Mexican!

This place is clearly a Chinese restaurant renovated to serve Mexican style food because the demographic in the area would rather eat and pay more for Mexican. Everyone here is Chinese(the cook, the cashier, etc.), the décor is that of a cheap Chinese take-out restaurants, and even the menu screams Chinese restaurant(one of those long laundry lists of different things you can order). So I guess the 2-star here is more so for the imitation Mexican food. The thing is they don’t even imitate it that well. I got a burrito, and while it wasn’t bad by any means, it wasn’t great at all. Basically it felt like I was eating Chinese food stuck in a tortilla with diluted guac sauc. The chicken was reminiscent of Chinese stir-fried chicken, and the other ingredients were just plain and bland. The food was pretty cheap compared to regular Mexican joints but for the quality of food you’re getting it definitely should be cheaper. If you’re craving some calories on the budget, definitely come here because they actually provide a decent amount of protein, but if you’re looking for truly yummy Mexican you should probably go to Taqueria de Los Muertos or Kimchi Grill both next door.

Yummy Taco is great at what they do – quick, affordable Mexican. The staff is efficient and friendly, and I love their fresh tortillas and beans. I don’t eat meat, but you can’t go wrong with simple burritos and nachos from Yummy Taco. They’ve been feeding my family for at least ten years — we’re so glad they reopened at this location!
