Dean Miller (owner), recruited Steven Del Lima (General Manager), who has been rated one of the best chefs in NYC, to create and develop White Oak, a Craft Cocktail & Oyster Bar that also specializes in creative comfort food. Steven comes back to his Big Apple roots after creating an empire on Long Island.

Business Owner
Dean Miller is a life long New Yorker who spent 15 years in the bar/restaurant business as a DJ & bartender. He is a married father of 4, who loves music, beer, high-end spirits, comfort food and great experiences. After a 20 year absence from the bar biz, and a 19 year career building teams in the real estate sales business, Dean was convinced that it was time to get back into the game and to build a great team in the bar business.
Originally, the idea of an oyster bar was brought to him by several family members. Many months of research, conversations and ideas led him to Hells Kitchen. Followed by 2 years of work, construction and planning, the dream behind White Oak finally became a reality.
Dean’s vision of a classy/elegant, but casual/fun/friendly specialty cocktail/oyster bar, paired with creative comfort food, that creates memorable experiences developed. We hope you love it as much as we do.
