In giving this location 5 stars mostly based on the service I received here. I was shopping for a last minute dress to attend a friend’s wedding and found one I absolutely loved. The floor attendant had graciously offered to start a room for me and brought me at least 7 different selections based on what I said I was looking for.
Upon finding that the one I loved didn’t fit, the manager called several nearby stores until she found one that carried it in my size. They made what could have been a stressful experience so pleasant and easy.

Although some of the associates were not helpful, Kathy was a ray of sunshine. After asking another associate for help, Kathy approached and offered to assist me. If it weren’t for Kathy’s stellar customer service, I would have left without a substantial purchase. As for the rest of the associates, they could learn something from her. Thank you Kathy for your help!

I am writing this review with hopes that the manager reads it.
I love this store. Well, most of it. I think the layout of the store works very well, it’s clean, and I can always find something to try on (and usually take home). While I think all their original prices are a bit overpriced, their sale prices are well-​matched to their great quality. Most everything I buy from here becomes a «go-​to» piece (whether for work or play) that I love and fits me well. I would give the store 4 stars for their clothing. But my review does not end here.
I probably dislike sales people more than most. I find them annoying and for the most part, unnecessary. There hasn’t been a day in my adult life that I’ve bought something because I was sold into it. I worked at a store in high school and do feel bad for the pressure managers put on their sales people to basically attack you and follow you around the store, but my comment is mostly: know your customer.
I will not go into this store if it’s empty. There are always at least four people working and they ALL hound you. If I have one thing in my hand, I do not need to «start a fitting room.» I can carry multiple things at a time without feeling overwhelmed. But the most annoying part is, if you say no to one, a minute later, the next sales person is going to ask you the same thing (this is of course after all of them have asked you how you’re doing and if you are looking for something in particular). Yeah, it’s nice, but when I say that I am fine, believe me, I’M FINE. You don’t have to ask me if I’m sure two more times. I’m not too shy to ask for help or whether or not something looks good on me. Or if I have 10 things in my hand and want you to put them in the fitting room for me, I’ll ask.
While shopping here few months ago, one of the sales women checked on me in the dressing room THREE times within five minutes (is everything fitting okay? do I need a second opinion? do I need another size?). I was so close to yelling at her or walking out without the dress I loved.
My main point: I think that, as a sales person, you should be able to decipher between those that enjoy this type of treatment and those that don’t. Back off when necessary (because it can hurt business), and go after those that seem like they will easily spend hundreds of dollars on things they don’t need.
Maybe I’m the oddball, but I can’t imagine that most people like this «up your butt» kind of of service. While I will continue coming back for the clothes, it will only be when the store is a little busier in fear of employee overkill.

I needed a black dress for a volunteer event. I also recently lost weight and was interested in getting a nice dress that showed that off. Hence my first ever trip to WHBM (at least to purchase something for myself).
The sales girl was really helpful and IMPRESSIVE at upselling me. I ended up buying two pairs of earrings and a purse, none of which I needed but all of which I love. Also, I got a black wrap dress that is perfect. I am nearly obsessed with it.
The discounts they offer are useful in making you feel like you’re getting a good deal. Also, the phone call I got to wish me a happy birthday and tell me I get an extra discount for that fact was really a classy touch.

First off i’m not a chick reviewing WHBM but i have been there numerous times because my GF does like this store a lot. Very nice fashion and sexy looking clothes for any lady. Good quality and great staff. In this area your going to probably shop for at least 3 – 5 hours if your a girl and you have a day off from work. So make sure this is one of your stops.
