I worked in investment banking for 25 years before returning to school to become a therapist. I am the father of 4 grown children. My education, training and life experience contribute to the depth of the therapy I provide. I have been able to assist my clients most effectively in the areas of marriage/couples therapy, anger management, life transitions and recovery from substance dependence.

My fascination with the study and practice of psychotherapy began PSYCH 101 as a freshman in college. What triggered my switching to a career in the mental health field was being in the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. The trauma I experienced and witnessed that day altered my sense of what is important in life. We don’t know how long we have — so helping myself and others live their lives to the fullest became of primary importance.
