UMDG officially became a business in 2013. Creative Director & Founder, Veronica Pajares has a degree in interior design and over twelve years of experience in the event & floral design industry.

Business Owner

I am the founder and creative director of Urban Monkey Desgin Group.

My family and I reside in Chelsea NY and my hubby & I are proud parents to a little urban monkey!

We all LOVE NYC.

For the past fourteen years, I have worked in the event design industry, first as a floral designer and later as a project manager for large scale corporate and social events. Life was good! It was a time of freelance and carefree living.

During this time of living la vida loca, I thought «if creating temporary spaces that can impact guests was fun… Imagine what creating permanent living spaces would be like?»

So I decided to attend the New York School of Interior Design, graduating with a degree in Interior Design in 2005.

Nowadays, I rely on a core group of New York City designers, tinkerers & artists that come together to make amazing spaces. Whether you are planning a wedding or designing your family room, we can make it happen!
