so my friend wanted to see a jimmy fallon taping for her birthday. turns out, most shows don’t film on friday’s in nyc. luckily? for us, one show was filming for whatever reason — martha.
even though the «outdoor entertaining» theme didn’t really apply to us and our fire escape backyards, we got some free swag so we couldn’t complain.
on a side note, did you know martha stewart is almost 70 years old? that fun-​fact blew my mind when we googled during a commercial break.
not saying martha is hot, but girl is lookin good for 70.

While I’m not a big fan of Martha Stewart as her infamous insider trading scandal resulting in federal criminal charges, which made me regard her less of a credible source for the queen of crafts. As a avid scrapbooker and greeting card creator I needed a bright red glitter to be utlized in conjuction with my pigment ink stamp. I found Ruby Coarse to be closest to red in color as my 12″ X 12″ page were reserved for my Hong Kong visitation. The glitter is very reasonably retail priced at $ 4.75 to $ 5.50.
However, Martha Stewart’s crafts as seen in most craft magazine, wedding magazine, DIY Scrapbooking are difficult to locate for most chain craft retailers as Michael’s Arts and Crafts; A.C. Moore; Joann’s do not carry the complete line of products.

Last week I attended a taping of the Martha Stewart Show.

I agree with Ryan M., Martha does have the cleanest studio, and the COLDEST (next to the Tonight Show). She is much prettier and nicer in person that I had expected as well. My best friend won tickets to her show, so we played hookie from work last Valentines Day (vom) and headed over to the studios for some arts and crafts.
The guest was Andy Garcia (so hot want to touch the hiney). He was a bit inappropriate with his language, which i’m sure they cut out of the televised program. They didn’t cook, but we did get arts and crafts goodies to take home.
I’m definitely a fan!

ive always wanted to be a part of a live studio audience, and finally scored some tickets to the martha stewart show, which films here.
i know that a lot of people dont like her, but i have to say, she has the nicest, cleanest studio ive ever seen (while this was my first as a audience member, ive seen many studios)…the staff was so friendly, and yes, we got a few free gifts! martha was quick, but delightful, and the show was so much more fun to be a part of than to just watch on tv
