Description

Specialties

Lunch menu includes udon noodles, Japanese curry, and teriyaki. Our dinner menu starts after 5:00 pm and includes daily specials as well as our trademark udon and combinations.

Japanese traditional meals such as shabu shabu and tontoro teppan yaki add a «do it yourself» element to one’s dinner experience and definitely worth trying. Certainly the staple of a Japanese diet includes fish and We offers a variety of choices prominently displayed for personal selection. The wait staff is courteous and friendly offering suggestions to individuals not accustomed to Japanese cuisine.

We also offers a selection of Japanese vodkas known as shochu in addition to perennial favorites like plum wine and sake (hot or cold) with Sapporo and Kirin beer on tap.

We have 36 seats in the front section and 20 more seats in the back which is great for a party and we take a reservation for dinner time. We hope you come visit us soon!

History

Established in 2008.

Udon West is the third restaurant from the West chain in New York opened in the winter of 2008. The restaurant’s name is derived from the WEST Corporation in Japan with over 100 establishments throughout the country.

Since we have started our goal is very simple; provide the highest quality of traditional Japanese food at affordable prices. We import our own brand of udon noodle adding an authentic taste once only available in Japan. It has been only one year since we opened our own door and we are still green. Our history just started and we would like to make it progress with every customer who visits to us.

Sincerely,

Udon West 46
