The restaurant is located inside of Tsushima(store front). Between 11pm — 4am, the restaurant changes hands(new owner, new chef, etc) and it’s technically After Hours. It’s a great stop if you’re in the area late at night, want to continue drinking, don’t want to stuff yourself, and want delicious food. It’s also great because everything is reasonably priced — pretty cheap for Japanese food in this area. The food here is amazing! They serve a bunch of Japanese tapas and it’s hands down the best Japanese tapas I’ve ever had. Everything tasted so fresh. The dishes were unique and I think were pretty authentic. We ordered at least half the menu. My favorite dish was the fried little shrimp. I could eat an entire basket of those! My next favorite was probably the oshinko and cheese — not sure what this is called. The salads were refreshing — the dressing and seafood was light and flavorful. All the meats were cooked so perfectly. The curry was really good — I have no idea Japanese curry could taste so good. They have a pretty wide selection of drinks — sake, whisky, sangria, bellinis, etc. I had the peach bellini which was really good. This is a pretty good space — there is a full bar and there is also tons of seating for large and small groups. The staff is also really friendly. Every time I think of Japanese tapas, I think of this place. I wish they were open all day! But since they’re not, I’m going to have to make sure next time I’m in the area after a long night, I go here!
