Specialties
TDF’s twofold mission is to identify and provide support, including financial assistance, to theatrical works of artistic merit and to encourage and enable diverse audiences to attend live theatre and dance in all their venues.
History
Established in 1968.
Created in 1968 to help an ailing New York theatre industry, TDF has grown into the nation’s largest performing arts nonprofit, providing support to more than 900 plays and musicals and returning upwards of $ 2 billion in revenue to thousands of Broadway, Off-Broadway and Off-Off Broadway music and dance productions.
Meet the Manager
Christina T.
Manager
Christina Trivigno is the Social Media Manager for Theatre Development Fund (TDF), a New York City based not-for-profit service organization created to encourage and enable diverse audiences to attend live theatre (best known for operating the TKTS Discount Booths). She juggles over 15 social handles and their respective online advertising campaigns, more than doubling TDF’s social following in under a year. Prior to joining TDF, Christina spent 4 years with the interactive team at SpotCo, a leading entertainment marketing firm. Offline she works with the Fearless Theater Company to produce plays by and about children with disabilities.
