The Waylon was constructed as a nod to the traditional Western saloon. We pride ourselves on bringing a little bit of the Country into the Big City! We’ve got a small, but unique tex mex menu and a solid bourbon and tequila collection for ya’ll. Come on by and take a load off.
History
Established in 2014.
The location of The Waylon has been a tavern/restaurant for over 100 years. From the haunting history as The Sunbrite, to the fondly missed Druid’s. The Waylon, named after the Honky Tonk Hero Waylon Jennings, was a labor of love. We completely gutted the venue and renewed its entire bone structure. We hope that our facelift will give it another 100 years of life. All of the partners have worked in the Hell’s Kitchen restaurant industry for at least a decade. We are happy to have put some roots down on 10th Avenue, the new frontier!
