We just moved to the city and went looking for someplace to get threading for my daughters eyebrows Went here based on proximity basically not knowing what to expect. The place is nicely decorated. Simple with pics of Audrey Hepburn. The woman did a fabulous job, was sweet and did it as painlessly as possible. The price was also reasonable. Think we lucked out on the first try! We will be using this place definitely!

I live on the UES and had always passed by this place and finally decided to try it one day when I was desperate and did not have enough time to go downtown to my normal threading salon. What a pleasant surprise! She took her time (which was twice as long as where I used to go) but really got every hair! The convenience and quality is well worth the $ 12 for me.

Decided to get my eyebrows done today and the woman was horrible. I had to ask her to get off the phone because she was talking in face while doing my eyebrows. When I sat down, she dabbed my eyebrows with a paper towel and then threw the crumpled paper towel on my chest. I was so offended by lack of customer service and I will never go back even though the salon is literally a block from my house.

This has been my new threading place for a few months now. They redecorated so it looks nicer and more modern. Since I have started going here I have had three different women thread my eyebrows. I don’t know any of their names but the reason I am giving it three stars is because it can be inconsistent. My eyebrows always look better then when I go in, but I never know what I am going to get. They don’t make your eyebrows too thin though, which I like, and they do take their time. Out of all the places I have visited this is the best so far and I do recommend it to my friends when they move into the area.

For ten dollars I came out looking like a plucked chicken and with CUTS all over the end of my eyebrows, cuts that scabbed over the next few days and I looked awful, they were huge an all over my eyes. CUTS!!! I’m outraged, do not go here!

Perfectly fine job.
Brows are $ 10, which is a couple bucks more than I usually pay elsewhere. I sound like a total cheapskate, but I’ve gotten used to the $ 7 – 8 threading job.
The space is a bit nicer looking than what I’m used to, and seems very clean, though.
The woman who did my brows (not the «honey» woman listed below, but a woman who didn’t say much at all) was fine– she was a bit slower than I’m used to, but all in all, I’m satisfied. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here, since I can get a similar results elsewhere cheaper, but when I’m in the neighborhood it’s a perfectly fine option for when you’re feeling like a yeti.

I agree with d.a. I look like a deranged woodchuck.
Not that I started out looking like beauty queen but my
eyebrows were pretty much goomed. I went with the
«honey» woman as mentioned above. What a mess.
There is a communication issue when someone cannot stop saying «honey» to listen to.
Yes, she was distracted but still.
When she busted out the scissors and chopped looking out the window, leaving me with a few hairs that are stumps.
Ten bucks can be better spent.

there was once a roster of really good threaders and then there was only one. she is the one that calls you honey every other word, and frankly, is not a great theader. i always leave thinking, um. better than nothing, but that’s it.
i give them props for using hand sanitizer in between the hairy people, and the place is, overall, pretty clean.
**you must leave cash tip.

Went there for the first time today. There was no wait. It was mostly painless and pretty much flawless. I’m new to the neighborhood and I think this will be a fair substitute for my usuals which are Meena on 28^th and John Barrett Salon’s eyebrow queen Irina.
