Classic Brows Threading Salon

In the past I have had my eyebrows waxed and threaded at numerous different places throughout the upper east side. I was never truly happy with the results until I went to Naaz at Classic Brows. I go every 2 – 3 weeks for threading and tint. Every time I go I am greeted with a smile and she does such a fantastic job. People ask me on a regular basis where I get my eyebrows done and I always refer them to Naaz. She is truly an asset to this business and I am so glad I found her.

Best eyebrow experience thus far. Parvin is amazing at shaping your eyebrows. Works thoroughly and to perfection. This lady creates wonders with the most oddly shaped brows. I had a very bad brow job one about a month and a half back and waited on my brows to grow out before visiting a threading place again. Read reviews on Unilocal and decided to try this place. This will be my spot from here on forth. Though my brows still need to grow out, she did a great job shaping and aligning them so that they look even. So if you ever stop by let Parvin take control of your eyebrows. You will not be disappointed.

I go to classic brows once a week. Naaz is Amazing! I wont let anyone else touch my eyebrows. She has transformed them. She really knows her stuff. I also get my nails done weekly. Yana knows her nail products inside and out. The eyelash extensions are very reasonably priced and they do an incredible job. She is great with color selection too. I highly recommend Classic Brows!

I was in the neighborhood so I decided to give this place a try. It had good Unilocal reviews, which made it seem like a safe bet. Unfortunately, the woman who attended me was very distracted by her previous customer who was requesting her in the waxing room. When I spoke to her about what i was looking for — clean out of eyebrow and lip — she was looking toward the back room, ignoring me. I literally had to ask, «Are you listening?» She sheepishly smiled and asked me to hold my brow.
She was very aggressive on my lip, going over and over the surface area with speed and force. She caught my left cheek and upper lip in the battle several times and I made noise and flinched to make it known that was NOT ok. (Most experienced threaders never make this mistake.) She giggled as a way to shrug it off and kept going.
When it was all done, my upper lip was burning and red. I asked if she had a cold compress to help with the swelling, but she simply replied it will go away in 5 to 10 min. It’s been 15 min since my appointment and my upper lip still burns. In my 10+ years getting threading, this has never happened. The redness is the most embarrassing part.
I complained to the woman at the front desk about the service and told her I would not return. She didn’t seem to care and was completely unapologetic.
In short, the service is terrible here. I would not recommend it.

I recently went back and redeemed my credit. I was happy that was honored, however the experience was still awkward. The women were very quiet and I would try to initiate conversation and they weren’t having it. At the same time they were complaining to each other that business was dead. Going to take a wild guess and assume it has to do with there lack of a friendly disposition, but who really knows? Eyebrows came out decent. Still not impressive and this time since I no longer have any credit, I really doubt I’ll be back, but never say never. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

I love Naaz. She does a great job on my brows even while I whimper through the whole thing.

Just love this place! No matter who will do your nails or eyebrows, they will do a great job!
I’ve been doing my nails with Yana for months now and don’t change her for anyone else. The same is with Naaz. I love her work with my eyebrows.

+4: Great service! Naaz is really great at what she does, super efficient, great shaping and hairs don’t grow back for a long time. First time I got a different lady but I noticed my eyebrow hairs grew back much faster than they did with Naaz so I’m sticking with Naaz.
–1: Appointment system is a little unreliable. One time, I had called the day before I went in to make my appointment with Naaz but when I got there, she was booked with someone else in that time slot. Thankfully the other person didn’t show so I still got my eyebrows done.

My go-​to place for eyebrow threading. They have a nice chocolate wax for sensitive skin I get when I wax my upper lip. Its also really cheap for NYC.
Have Naaz do your eyebrows, especially if you need a eyebrow correction. I went to her after the last place I went to ruined my shape and she made my eyebrows match again.

These ladies know how to do brows. I’ve probably been there for 4 times. I never made an appointment whenever I go and just let them give me whoever is available (so I don’t keep track of their names.) :(I still come out with polished brows every time. $ 7 is a very reasonable price for brow threading. Everyone seems to love Naaz and I cannot wait to make an appointment with her next time I need to get my brows done.

Super nice staff, easy to talk to and very patient. I was having s hard time choosing which nail color but she helped me test a few before I choose.
Would definitely come back. Prices are reasonable!

I absolutely love Naaz so much I’m almost not willing to share but I guess I must. I recommend calling ahead and booking an appointment she’s popular lately :)
Oh and she does a great eyebrow tint too !

Went here with the groupon for eyebrow threading and it was great! There was no wait when I went in on a Saturday. The threading was really quick and painless. My eyebrows looked great! She really understood what I wanted and made my eyebrows look so clean. I would totally go and with a Groupon it’s so cheap.

Naaz was amazing — super nice and very efficient.

All I can say is miracles were worked by a woman named Naaz (Pronounced Nas like the rapper! Awesome I know).
Having to find go to a new eyebrow place was causing me all types of anxiety! I recently moved back to New York but am a little over an hour way from my old threading spot. It had been 4 or 5 weeks since I had my eyebrows done (don’t judge me, life was hard enough looking like a yeti for that long!).
I had to go to my boyfriends art show that night, but I refused to meet his friends looking like a yeti so my lengthy process of collecting friend recommendations was cut short and I had to trust the strangers of Unilocal…
But that’s then I found this little gem near my new school (Hunter College)!!
The interaction between the women who worked there and their clients was amazing it felt very much like a family establishment they knew everyone who came in by name and greeted them like old friends. In addition watching/​listening to the staff interactions with each other was pretty funny as well.
Only thing I could even think that was a down side to this place was I did have to wait about 30 mins (but it was also a Saturday afternoon).
With all that being said I will be a regular here!

Tried them out with a Groupon for a blow dry. Seemed like a good deal.
I called to make an appointment, as requested. Then, when I showed up they seemed almost surprised to see me, even though the place was dead. The hair washing station was awkwardly positioned next to the bathroom, so that when someone had to use it, they almost had to climb around me. The blow dry was ok. The woman doing my hair didn’t seem very happy or friendly.
When I went to check out and asked for change of a $ 20 (so I could give a tip) she mumbled something and gave me back $ 17. I asked what was up and she said «blow dry $ 3 tax». I said it didn’t state that anywhere and it didn’t seem right. It seemed like an arbitrary amount, and I have no idea how that number is even possible. It seemed like they just made up the amount, which I did not appreciate.
I gave her a good tip too, in addition to this random $ 3 tax, and left feeing annoyed, cheated, and ripped off. I paid it so I could get out of there at that point. She also refused to give me a receipt (and almost laughed at me) when I asked.
The whole experience just didn’t sit right. Sure I got a deal and it’s a small amount, but I care about the principle of the situation, and the poor, possibly illegal business practice. And I was actually thinking I’d go back there since I live nearby, but they are sketchy and I never will. The place was also empty on a Saturday. Not surprising.

They do really, really good eyebrows.
I first came here about three weeks ago because of a groupon I bought. I came in on a Sunday when it was relatively empty. The first time I got my eyebrows done, I fell in love. I pledged to do my eyebrows here again.
Now I am here during my second trip and j am even more in love. To tint and threat my brows ended up being $ 17.00, but it was worth it. I would recommend this place to anyone!

I would give negative stars if I could seriously. The sketchiest place I’ve been to yet and I’ve now unfortunately learned my lesson. I need to remain in a monogamous relationship with Himalayan eyebrow threading. The woman who did my eyebrows was a Russian lady named Yana and she sucked. I now have little scratches underneath my eyebrows and my eyebrows looked like 2 caterpillars ugh! Her thread broke four times and she almost poked me in the eye
And it also didn’t like the vibe between the workers just a general uneasinesss that was super uncomfortable.
And yes it’s 7 which is cheap but cheap & shoddy work is not worth it.
Thank god for Himalayan that reshaped my brows and I love them now (and they’re the same price!!!)
Do yourself a favor and take my review as a warning. The 4.5 stars this place has on Unilocal are a joke. Go to Himalayan instead and thank me :)

I came here after buying groupon deal and went on a Saturday afternoon. It was very quiet which was nice b/​c I hate waiting around when I have lots of errands to run. I’ve read other reviews about Naaz and was hoping to have her but maybe she doesn’t work on weekends.
I have to agree with the other reviews in that they definitely take more time and pay more attention to your brows than other places that I’ve been to. I definitely noticed that and appreciated it. I have extremely sensitive skin and even though the discomfort was just about the same as other threading salons, my skin was noticeably less red this time around. I was very pleased with that.
I’m excited to return again and hopefully I’ll get to try out Naaz. OOO P. S. even without the groupon deal, their standard price is only $ 7 for eyebrows anyways. Pretty common in NYC and great for the UES.

I’m never going to a random place like perfect brows again. I am coming HERE from now on.
The ladies take their time, they are not in a rush to get you out. She even gave me a mirror and explained to me what the other places had done wrong.
So glad I found this place!
