Beginning in 2010, new owner Mitch Marrow expanded SPOT 72 by 5,000 square feet and created a one-of-a-kind daycare experience. Mitch implemented a proprietary training program of 80+ hours for all employees who care for your dog. This consistency of training results in A New Method Of Dog Care. SPOT has gained national recognition for these groundbreaking methods and has also implemented a first of it’s kind residential amenity program with a long list of the most exclusive developers and management companies. Stop by today and arrange an interview for your special pup and experience the SPOT difference.

Meet the Business Owner

Mitchell M.

Business Owner

Mitchell M. is a former NFL Draft Pick from the University of Pennsylvania to the Carolina Panthers. After a series of major back injuries cut his NFL career short, he turned his Ivy League education into a successful business career and served as Head of International Trading for a large hedge fund. As a longtime dog owner, Mitchell was instrumental in setting up a dog therapy program which matched dogs with seniors and terminally ill patients. While working on Wall Street, Mitchell used his networking skills and business contacts to successfully raise funds for Angels on a Leash, an NY-based 501©(3) charity organization that specializes in therapy dogs. In 2010, Mitchell began seeking new investment opportunities when he met Brewster Smith, «NYC’s Dog Whisperer,» which prompted him to embark on a revolutionary new concept in dog care services. To date, Mitchell owns 6 Spot locations. He is the proud owner of a 225lb Saint Bernard named Reggie and a 165lb Bullmastiff named Hank.
