I’ve been going to Ripley-​Grier Studios for years now –usually the location by 34th Street but occasionally this location as well. As long as I get a room with a piano I’m a happy camper. One thing I do like is the rewards card. Go there (x) amount of times and get $ 5 off your next room rental.
The only thing about this location I don’t like (which is really just unfortunate scheduling for me) is that I usually manage to get dancers on the floor above me –NBD.

Great studio spaces with plenty of room and decent pianos, in a very convenient location. Pro tip: save big with day-​of reservations. I’ve never had a problem getting a room, and it’s way cheaper.

Great staff and very well kept rehearsal studios. This is a great R/​G location… when calling the regular line to request a room, if they seem to be sold out chances are there are rooms available at the 72nd street location.
It’s a walk up, so make sure you know that going into it… if you are in one of the upstairs studios.
