The McKittrick Hotel

Such a cool spot!!! The Mckittrick hotel is home to Sleep No More, The Heath, and Gallow Green/​The Lodge (depending on the season). I’ve been to the Gallow Green in spring and The Lodge just recently for winter. They truly put their all into carrying a the am throughout the entire building. No detail is missed. They’re drinks are excellent and they’re staff is super friendly.

We have had so many great times here. The musical acts are fantastic and the Manderely Bar is an amazing venue to see a band up close. It makes you feel like you’ve gone back in time. The staff are truly amazing and Felix at the door treated us with respect. Highly recommend this place.

Came here on a Sunday to talk to the event staff. No one was here from the event staff however the manager on duty, Daniel, took time to explain everything and make us feel very welcome. The staff here is amazing.

Ale, ahora vas y lo superas. Pues eso, que sí, que todo lo que pueda decir de esto se queda corto… y además sería una pena estropearlo contando de qué va. Pero sí puedo dar algunos detalles como por ejemplo que es una especie de obra de teatro inmersive en de la que formas parte y que has de llevar una máscara para participar en algo del tipo el baile de Eyes Wide Shut, pero de intriga y miedito. Y ahí lo dejo.
Me gustó tanto que en el mismo viaje fui dos veces. Ah, ocupa enterito un edificio de varias plantas y aconsejo que te pilles lo más temprano posible puesto que el final es siempre a la misma hora por lo que cuanto antes entres, más tiempo disfrutas de «lo que sea que es esto».

Sick lace to see a show!!! Aka concert, dean ween was out of this world here. The drinks flowed and the music was sweeeeeeeet, go if you like the band if not, go anyway (unless it’s sold out and you will bump some fans out of tix).

As an event space this is quite magical. Although I’ve never been for sleep no more I was in the Hotel and Gallow Green for a private event this past weekend. The space has ample spaces for smaller themed areas, a large main ballroom, a corridor at the moment decked out at a train car, and spacious hallways with areas to set up tickets or tables with cards, etc.
In the main ballroom, an amazing jazz band was playing classic hits and wowing all of us in the scattered leather circular booths, at one of the two bars or on the dance floor. Since this was a spirit heavy event two bars were set up on this floor, with the long wooden bar on the one side packed with spirits and glassware.
Upstairs was the garden wonderland of Gallow Green. Arches with vines and twinkling lights boxed off sections with another train car area, a shoeshine station at the moment and a balcony wrapping around two thirds of the space and providing great views. Room upstairs for several smaller areas to be cordoned off or opened up to one larger space. Great sound system and ambiance keeping the vibe that the hosts were going for.
The staff was incredible, from costumes to service. The event space was kept as a magical wonderland from start to finish. Truly impressed with the space and would recommend.

My best friend and I came from brunch last Sunday and it was nothing short of amazing. Great food, wonderful ambiance — I definitely want to come back. Hell, I want to live in that rooftop garden!

Je né sais même pas comment écrire un avis sur Sleep No More.
Pour tous les français qui sont à NYC ou qui y vont, ALLEZ Y, tentez le McKittrick hôtel. Je sais, c’est un peu cher, mais c’est à la hauteur de l’expérience.
Pour faire simple: Sleep No More est une pièce de théâtre, où les spectateurs peuvent se balader librement entre les acteurs, les suivre, lire ce qu’ils écrivent, enfin faire ce qu’on veut, tant qu’on né perturbe pas le jeu des acteurs.
Les spectateurs sont lâchés dans un immeuble immense de plusieurs étages et sont ensuite libres de faire ce qu’ils veulent, ils né doivent seulement pas communiquer, ni enlever le masque très Comedia Del Arte (bon j’avoue, c’est un masque, j’y connais rien en Comedia Del Arte) qu’on leur remet à l’entrée.
L’expérience dure plusieurs heures (impossible de conter une fois à l’intérieur) et on comprend petit à petit l’intrigue, en suivant les différents personnages, en se baladant dans les pièces très bien décorées et en menant notre propre petite enquête.
Franchement, c’est très compliqué à décrire, mais je sais que si je retourne assez longtemps à NYC, j’irai très certainement, sure à 100%, car c’est une expérience que l’on a envie de recommencer encore et encore !
